The villas at the lake is our favorite area within Sandestin and this specific unit is right across from the retail center of restaurants!

Beautiful villa, very clean and well kept! Parking was a bit difficult, especially for the golf cart. There are no assigned parking spaces. Even though there is a charging cord coming from the property to the spot for the golf cart to be charged, people do not respect that and would park in the space where the golf cart should be.

I thought you had everything a family could need. Having a grill, golf cart, and a clean not cluttered home was the highlight for us!

Had to get 3 different codes during our stay. Water leak in the patio sliding door had to put a towel down, Washing machine was outdated needs to be replaced the spin cycle sounded like an airplane taking off. Bed frame was off the floor. Mattress needs to be replaced . Stove top was cracked. Coffee maker was outdated needs to be replaced.

Upon arrival we had a broken stove top, clogged bathroom sink, and bloody boogers plastered to curtains in the twin bedroom. Yes I’m serious. Other than that the place was pretty clean but floors could definitely be cleaner. Maintenance came to unclog the sink while we were not there and actually changed the thermostat and we came back to a warm condo! Before leaving we used the washer and dryer which left black marks on over $100 worth of clothing. I have submitted pictures and request for refund but still waiting because maintenance sees no issue with the washer or dryer. I’ve actually been asked if we left something in the washer to cause it. If that was the case I wouldn’t have reported it!

Our stay was good. Having the golf cart was a major plus, just wish we could have drove it to Destin. The only complaints I have is there was any cookie sheets to cook with and limited pots and pans. Also, it would be nice to have some extra blankets since i am hot natured and my wife is cold natured. But overall i will be booking again in the future.
