Lake view Chalet

I would give 20 stars!! What a wonderful host!!! The lake was gorgeous, the house was such a beautiful, relaxing place...Felt like miles away, but close to downtown Mt.Dora.... We WILL be back!!!

Mostly a lovely and positive experience. Excellent location and loved spending time on the deck with the view and gorgeous trees. Comfortable furniture. Had fun playing pool. Master bed was comfortable but downstairs beds were less so. Very minimalist supplies, like one pot holder and no wash cloths. And we had a dish all made to put in the oven. And then the pan didn’t fit! But it was very nice for two nights and I would stay here again. Host was very responsive.

We met friends here as a halfway point to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It was a perfect location! Gorgeous property with beautiful sunsets. House was spotless and well stocked with essentials. Host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

A great experience from start to finish. Carolina, the property owner was so sweet the entire time. She explained everything all processes clearly and friendly and made our whole experience enjoyable. The property itself is in great condition with clean rooms and clean bathrooms. The view of the pristine lake was great with wooded areas as well. It made the it feel like you had your own secluded lake house, but you were just a three minute drive from downtown Mt Dora. So the location was perfect. I had three cousins staying with me and were all in our 50’s and it was great for us. We played golf at Bella Colina which was a 30 minute fun drive on the backroads of Florida. I think it would be great for a family stay as well because of the available lake activities and its proximity to quaint downtown Mt Dora. There was a pool table that has a great view of the lake as well.We loved our stay and will definitely visit this property again in the future!

The house layout and space was great. The downstairs bathroom was not clean, floor and tub dirty. One of the women opened the slider in the upstairs bedroom and was stung by a wasp. The nest was outside on the door. It’s a shame they have let the landscape go. The yard was a jungle with vines and weeds grown up on the deck. Trees so low hanging in the back drive they scrapped the car.

Excellent property, clean, great views of lake and nature (many birds on the property) and near to everything in Mt Dora…would recommend this house and property owner without any hesitation!

Overall it was a perfect place to stay for the week to experience the area. Reasonable drive to Orlando and Tampa for park fun, Mnt. Dora, Tavares all have great local vibes, food, fishing and fun. The home was well kept though there were some issues that the host attempted to take care of but fell a little short. For a week rental, I was hoping for a little more.

Large enough to accommodate a family of eight. Very spacious. Minutes from downtown Mt Dora.
