Lake Vibes Only ~ Intimate Lake Cottage in Mount Dora

Place is very quaint and clean. We had privacy being at the end, but didn't get to utilize the lake because of the weather. We brought our bicycles. Although you cannot bike to town, you must check out the trail in Minneola and Clermont. Bonnie was great with responding to my messages.

It was a wonderful cozy place and would absolutely come back.

Very homie feeling. I really wish we would’ve known we couldn't have a fire after dark before booking. We were very excited with the cold weather to have a fire at night.. parking is slightly difficult when having to back out. Definitely recommend backing into the parking spot.

Very quiet and serene. Perfect for having morning coffee down at the lake. Kayaks for exploring and a fire pit to catch the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Cozy cottage with all the essentials..just minutes from historical Mount Dora. We had dinner at Vincent’s an amazing Italian restaurant just a few miles away.

An easy drive to Mount Dora where we explored the shops and restaurants during our visit to the area. We would definitely stay there again!

Very relaxing. Close proximity to Orlando and the charming town Mount Dora. The unit was clean and the proximity to the lake was excellent. My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay.

This marked our third stay at this property, and I must express my profound satisfaction. It's an elegantly appointed cottage situated directly on the lake, offering all the comforts of home. Exploring the charming town of Mount Dora is highly recommended, and our host, Bobbi, is exceptional.

The cottage we stayed in was beautiful! Clean and well equipped! Location was right on a pretty lake! So peaceful and enjoyable! The host was personable and easily reached. I highly recommend this place!

Staying in the little renovated fishing camp was perfect for us. The cottage itself was adorable and everything was done just right, the bed, the sheets, great shower……We utilized the dock to do a bit of fishing, yoga and even had two friends out for a drink on the dock. Loved it and would go back. Thank you!

We couldn’t get enough of sitting on the dock and enjoying the sunset, lake breeze and watching the fish and birds! Cottage was clean and had cute decor! We never saw the resident cat, as others described.. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the lake! The house was adorable, clean and very comfortable. The lake is beautiful; we enjoyed kayaking and sitting on the dock. Mount Dora was a quick 10 mins away and has amazing food and shops. We will definitely be returning!

When we arrived at the cottage my code (last 4 digests of cell ) it did not work. We had an issue with locating Bobbi because her phone number was nowhere to be found. There was a bug guy there spraying the grounds and he was able to give me Bobbi's number, which Bobbi stated there was a glitch with the computer and gave us another code to enter. Perhaps she could have reached out to me with info? But all in all, we had a very pleasant time. Enjoyed everything about the cottage. I would go back again.

We loved our stay at the cozy little College. It is decorated very nicely and felt like home. And lightning the cat is very welcoming and loves cuddles.

This lovely cottage exceeded our expectations. If I could give it 10 out of 5 stars I would. Perfect for two people – I kayaked every morning – after enjoying coffee from the dock. The property is tranquil. Lake Ola is gorgeous. We’d end our day stargazing in the rocking chairs on the porch, or on the dock. The cottage is spotless. Keurig coffee maker, and a comfortable size kitchen with all we needed. I think it’s the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at. The bed was so comfortable – we slept great. Finally there is a super cool bonus cat that visited the property outside - he must’ve lived somewhere near the cottage…very sweet. The host was also great and communicated quickly and clearly. We will book again!

The cottage was really nice and in a great location with lake views. Everything was spotless. Bobbie, the owner was very pleasant. The neighborhood cat, Lightning is very friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. We are definitely coming back.

We liked the cottage and the access to the dock for fishing. The neighborhood is quiet but close to Tavares and Mount Dora downtowns for Christmas and restaurants. We come up to the area at least yearly and would stay again when in the area.

Location was perfect, on a lake for quietness and being away from the hustle and bustle. We were close to Mt. Dora, Apopka, Rennigers and other antique shops in the area.

Great house, very comfortable and very clean - there's even a neighborhood cat! Will definitely book here again.

The landlady was very generous. Because of the heavy rains before our arrival she upgraded us up to larger cottage. The only small issue was town was a 10 minute drive.

Bobbi was a great host. The place was clean and close to mount Dora. Unfortunately due to conditions from the hurricanes we were unable to access the lake and some other stuff .Bobbi did do her best to accommodate us. We would stay again under better circumstances to try to enjoy the lake.

We enjoyed our stay in Mount Dora more than we ever expected! The cottage was perfect and the word I kept coming back to was whimsical! Lightning, our personal greeter was an added highlight to the weekend! The town was quaint yet there was a lot to do and see. We will definitely be back, and when we do, we would love to stay here again!

We loved everything on our stay there, the cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated we had fun enjoying the kayaks and fishing at the lake, the proximity with all the amenities in downtown is excellent - but what really made everything special was Lightning the cat that came to welcome us as soon as we arrived, my 3-year-old daughter fell in love with Lightning and after we left she continues to talk about the cat and how she misses Lightning until today, it was beautiful to see how they attached to each other, we even bough some snacks and left there for Lightning. We would love to come back to this place anytime. Beautiful and relaxing little cottage.
