Lake Tahoe spacious Retreat with fun yard mv19

Aside from the broken fencing in two spots, the backyard was nice for our grandchildren. But after staying at this VRBO home we feel this listing needs a significant reduction in price or improvements to the home. There was limited toilet paper, the shades in at least two bedrooms were not working, the mouse scurrying across the floor one evening frightened our young grandaughter, the downstairs bathroom tub was not clean, the dog friendly yard had gaping holes in the fencing on each side of the home and some of the pots and pans were shedding their teflon coating and not fit for human use. After paying the deposit, a notice was received mentioning an additional fee of 150 per dog. There was no mention of this added cost anywhere in the materials received prior to making the deposit (I reviewed the initial listing multiple times after learning of this charge). No call was ever returned after speaking with a representative at LuxeVaca on two occasions who told me that someone would get back to me regarding this additional charge. The bright side was that I was not charged the additional fee per dog.

Just disappointed.

It was great to have our family together up in ski country. Our 3 and 5 year old grandkids had a blast skiing. The house functioned well with everyone having enough room. Kitchen worked fine.

Plenty of space inside to relax and a really great backyard for the kids and dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I, plus 2 dogs enjoyed the stay at what my daughter called, The Green House. It had everything we needed: a good-sized yard for the dogs and a play structure for our daughter. The company Luxe which manages the property is top-notch. We will be returning customers for sure!

The house needs so much maintenance and a deep clean. The kitchen windows are full of grease, the appliance are wiped down they need a cleaning. Walls

This place is breathtaking. With a great mountain view. The host responds in a very timely manner, and is super respectful. The bedrooms are very spacious, we had eight people in our group and our dog so it is dog friendly. The outside playground on the property was a bonus for our two youngest. I would definitely stay here again with my family and would recommend this place if you're heading to South Tahoe.

We stayed here in January and had a great time. Location was quiet and comfortable yet close enough to the store or restaurants if needed. Our hosts were communicative and the place was clean. There was enough room for 6 adults to comfortably hang out in a few spaces in the house. We would definitely stay here again.
