Lake Street Carriage House

Great spot in the heart of Picton! We were a family of 5 with young kids who enjoyed the walkable distance to restaurants/shops while also being within 15 minutes of Sandbanks.

Beautifully renovated home; we were so comfortable, we spent more time just hanging out at our accommodation than we normally would! Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Had everything that we need and more. Highly recommend and would definitely would go back. Loved, loved, loved.

This property is exactly as described. It was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable. And the hospitality was beyond expectations - they had a chilled bottle of local wine for us upon arrival. I will be highly recommending this property to all. Some suggestions: The internet was spotty and there is no cable TV. This was a bit of a problem, especially with being there on a weekend during NFL playoffs. Since there is only one TV in the entire house, watching TV was a tad challenging unless all wanted to watch the same thing or else use a personal device.

Lovely, clean, open concept house, with a nice back deck and hot tub. The location is perfect for walking downtown or to get around to different wineries. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the carriage house. The house is very private and well off the road, close to grocery stores and stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and this lovely, cozy cottage.

This is a beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything one needs and the hot tub is a definite bonus. Great location as you can walk to the many downtown restaurants.

When opening the front door, we immediately felt welcomed. Thanks for the wine, such a nice gesture.The house was clean, it is well situated, the back yard is inviting. We had a wonderful week.We highly recommend this property.

This is a fantastic accommodation. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable & has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location is also great as there are lots of restaurants you can walk to & lots of stores & wineries nearby. The hot tub is a lovely bonus! We certainly hope to return.

Very satisfying

This Carriage House was the best rental we have had in the County over the past 11 years at a fair price and excellent amenities. The kitchen and bedrooms are all well appointed. The beds are comfortable and it’s been nicely renovated. Very clean and inviting! Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful Carrige House!

We had an excellent stay at the Lake Street Carriage house. The house is ideally located to explore the region. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners are really nice and are eager to help.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how large it was! The photos don’t do it justice. It rained during one of the days of our stay, so we were able to take full advantage of the amenities and catch up on our laundry with the included washer and dryer :) My only wish would be to have hooks behind the doors and in the bathrooms to hang our wet bathing suits and towels. A drying rack would also have done the trick. Aside from the lack of hooks, everything was perfect.

We were on a girls golf getaway. Very convenient location. Close to LCBO and restaurants. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Relaxing in the hot tub after golf was an added bonus. We all want to return next year.

The property is lovely, everything you need is available for an enjoyable stay. Because the county is wine country taxi service needs to be *better*. My sisters in law and myself are in our 60’s and 70’s and we were unable to get a taxi service after dinner, we walked took us 45 min and I was nervous. It was 10:30 when we got back to the house. My one sister in law is unable to walk easily, it was challenging and frustrating. The property and house were 100%.
