LAKE NANTAHALA~~SPACIOUS LAKEFRONT HOME

The space was great for a family gathering from all over the country with enough room to entertain and be comfortable. The amenities were all very nice and the house had almost everything you could ask for in a short term rental. Clean with a great view of the lake and the mountains, although it was maiming most of our trip, it was still nice to look at in the fall foliage. The pool table was used but only one cue had a bump so we had to share a bit but definitely a nice entertainment area for family and kids. Had a great time and enjoyed our stay!Thank you!

It was a beautiful spot! Nantahala Park is a pretty special place, surrounded by nature and the spectacular views of the sparkling lake from the house, and short walk down to the dock. The house was so clean and spacious with lovely extra large bedrooms. We were with family staying for a wedding nearby. It was the perfect location, with gorgeous views and indoor and outdoor sitting areas and dinning tables. We cooked and bbq’d.We were a group of 7, ranging from 2-75 yrs old. It was so nice having the master bedroom on the main floor, with 2 full bathrooms on that floor. The bedrooms upstairs were also really nice and spacious with a nice bathroom. The bunnies room on the lower floor which was the walk-out basement was a lot of fun and comfortable, again with a full bathroom. We had a great time going for a swim in the lake. Then kids loved it! There were also kayaks, and life jackets to use, for adults and kids sizes. We went to the marina near by and rented a boat for an afternoon too which was an exciting and beautiful way to see the lake and the park. The hosts were so nice and responded to our questions before going. We really didn’t need to contact them while there cause everything was ready for us. We all said we wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a great stay for a few days! The house was VERY well stocked; kitchen and bathrooms. The lake lovely, home cozy and accommodating. We enjoyed rafting at the NOC, did some hiking and relaxed! Should we be in the area again, we would definitely stay again. Thank you for opening your home for us to enjoy!

Everything was as presented. Very nice property with probably the best stocked kitchen I've experienced. Kids loved playing off the dock all day.

We loved staying at this lake house! It was so fun with all the amenities and the house was stocked with everything we needed. We loved having the kayaks and standup paddle board, the pool room and movie room. The kids loved it! Thank you! We will be back!

Pros: The location was excellent, beautiful setting on the lake. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The downstairs game room area is nice. Good Wi-Fi through star link, but it is unsecured.Cons: Inside the house there was a foul odor. There were cobwebs and thick dust on the furniture. The dryer doesn’t dry towels but other items were dried okay. There were branches hanging over the walkways to the dock, and a step missing. Bedding was moderately uncomfortable. Some outdoor chairs required cleaning and were cracked and broken.In summary, okay stay but very rustic, not big on cleanliness or comfort. Felt like I paid 3.5 star rates for a 2 star stay.

Only comment I would say is the trail walking down to the lake needed a little maintenance. But it was close to the lake and a pretty easy trek down. Nice place. Would stay again!

Amazing house and plenty of room. Maybe clarify that back door is how you we get the house using code.

We had a great stay at this property. The owner is highly communicative and did everything she could to make us comfortable.
