Lake Lanier Castle/Your own Private Resort

Castle was an absolute delight, as were the hosts. Very clear communication, very responsive and accommodating (especially given our large family), and a wonderful retreat right on the like. Would certainly recommend to any families in the area, and would love to stay again!

David and his team make sure you have everything you need. Supplies are well stocked. A very comfortable home that’s perfect for large family gatherings. Everyone had a blast and we are looking forward to coming back again!

This house & grounds are amazing. We (16 4) enjoyed our annual family reunion here (during Thanksgiving week).We all loved the accommodations & made use of the pickleball court & sauna. It was great having two refrigerators & dishwashers (for our large group) & being able to all sit together for our dinners. Golfers all enjoyed the two nearby golf courses. Mandy & Dave were great with communication. The pool & grill area looked fabulous, though it was too chilly for us to use--definitely perfect for summer use. We've stayed at 22 places for our reunions & this is one of the top choices. This house had everything supplied (which was greatly appreciated). Highly recommend for a large group.

We had a great stay! As a big family with wide ranging ages, it’s difficult to find a place to accommodate all of us. My children found this and we had a weekend to celebrate my 80th birthday. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty to do without leaving the property.

Bellissimo Castle was a fun weekend retreat for our team outing. The house had many gathering spaces, inside and out, that made our time together enjoyable. The large kitchen with multiple refrigerators and double dishwashers made food & beverage prep & cleanup easy for our large group. Lake Lanier was calm and perfect for boating. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Would recommend!

Thankful for lots of space in the house and outside with the pool, beach, renting the boat, the gardens, getting to use a golf cart, and the hot tub. There were disappointments with the house. It feels like it is not being kept up with the floors, dirty windows, convection oven not working correctly, pool heater not working, projects on site. Host David was responsive and accessible to variety of issues of rain leak, filling up boat with gas, locked room with no keys, trampoline deflated.

Bellissimo Castle is a stunning facility that easily accommodates a large family reunion. Everything we needed for fun was available on the property. The boats, pickleball courts, karaoke machine and pool were all very popular. Plenty of room to spread out and find your own niche or join others. Dave was gracious, accommodating and responsive to our requests. The check-in process was disjointed. Construction on the driveway was in progress at our check-in time which caused some delay in the formal check-in. The property is unique in its large size and electronic features which required some additional instruction. Because of its distinctive architecture and unusual features constant maintenance is required including touch-up painting. The kitchen was modern, functional, spacious and more than adequate for our needs. We especially enjoyed the privacy of several secluded corners in the house such as the turret on the roof and several porches. If you have an active, athletic family this is the ideal place on the lake. It's your own resort.

Great place. Did need just a little work. Our bedroom ceiling in the bathroom must have had a leak. Didn’t leak anymore but ceiling hadn’t been repaired. One of the dishwashers needed a repair of the soap dispenser. David was a great host helping us use the boat.

Very unique property! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms (all our guests did not have to share a bathroom- which is hard to find). Kitchen and outdoor grills (several) worked great. Lots of kitchen, pantry space and 3 very large fridges for main food storage. Check in was easy. Also to have lakefront with a beach and flatter topography was much appreciated.

Even though the property is beautiful, we had to do a lot of our own cleanup in the dock area plus the extra recreational area was not usable in our opinion. Where avid pickleball players but we felt the court was unsafe due to many cracks and not much security around the edge with drop-offs. Very possible. We could not use the pool in the beginning because it was all cloudy and they had to be clean before. We could use it also the dock area. We had to clean up as it was not cleaned up from the previous renter's. The uh, the owner of the property was extremely helpful and apologetic. There's some Of the problems

We had an amazing time at the Bellissimo Castle! Our extended family of 14 came for a week and loved the space in the house as well as the incredible property. Boat, pool, hot tub, floats, etc. Our 5 kids were busy all week and the adults had a great time either on the boat, porch or just hanging out inside playing games. Dave the owner was super responsive and was quick to take action on anything we needed. We would definitely return and are already checking out his other property. I highly recommend this place for any large group that wants some outdoor fun with a very unique house to call home for a week!

The property and view met our needs. I wanted to ask for a partial refund of the cleaning deposit because of the many issues we had. I didn't want to share my grievances online but I can't find an email for the owner. There were many things that didn't work. One of the reasons I booked this place was for the gaming area which we couldn't even use because they didn't work. Coffee makers didn't work. Pool was filthy. We had to clean it ourselves. Ice makers quit working. I would not recommend this property.

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at the Castle. Sam, the property manager, was flexible about initial check-in and was attentive and helpful. The property is gorgeous and there was so much to do. This is the perfect option for families and adult weekends alike. Couldn’t be happier with the process, honestly the online pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend!

This was our 10th year doing a reunion trip, and we went big for the occasion -- Castle Bellissimo was a blast!-- ample sleeping arrangements to accommodate 15 adults very comfortably-- 100 TV in the main room with 12-seater wraparound couch ( with all seats reclining ) -- great outdoor kitchen area, next to a huge hot tub and an infrared sauna-- outdoor gaming area ... we played pickleball for hours-- rooftop bar was a hit-- fully loaded boat dock ... we took the pontoon boat out for a cruise on a beautiful Saturday afternoonThere's so much to do on property and we certainly didn't get to all of it in our four-day / three-night stay. Guess we'll have to come back!

Exceptionally spacious and comfortable. Host puts a lot of emphasis on features and guest satisfaction. Great kitchen and dining - perfect for our large group. Equipment, games .

Had the best Thanksgiving ever with my family! We will definitely be coming back this summer.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found the perfect spot to celebrate our company’s 20th anniversary! Tons of room, so much to do, something for everyone! The owner, Dave Norris, spared no expense and attended to every and any need anyone could possibly ever have! First class all the way!

After a long, private and rustic driveway from the road to the house, we were treated to a visually unique and stunning estate setting inside and out. Incredible outdoor waterfall system with color changing lights. A night time marvel. (Built by the Owner, Dave) Very large, well equipped house, many amenities and plenty of space for large family gatherings and numerous private sitting areas for relaxation or small get togethers. The house stonework and woodwork (inside and out) is just amazing. Actually more of a private resort feel with a beautiful view and direct access to the lake. We had 16 family members from infants, toddlers, pre-teens to grandparents with plenty of room and plenty to do. Dave was very attentive and personally checked in with us daily to see if there was anything we needed. Dave continues to work on improving the property and adding new amenities. This was one of those unique and special family/location experiences to be remembered and talked about for years to come.
