Lake House 3 blocks from the beach ~ bikes and children playhouse!

Host was very welcoming, even put up holiday decorations. House is clean & fully furnished. Our grandkids loved the playhouse!

This Lake House was the perfect location for a long weekend stay. We loved the proximity to the playground/lake, and a highlight for our kids was the backyard playhouse. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable!

What a great experience and just a cute house! Our host was amazing, and we communicated almost every day! It felt like a taste of home and a Greta visit to one of my favorite childhood towns. Given the opportunity, we would so happily come back! I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for making a cozy place for this old thin blooded Floridian!

Such a cute place! It was the perfect cottage for the beach. The hosts were accommodating and had tons of beach accessories and toys for kids.

This was a great house for our family which included 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 5 & 2). My 5 year old loved the bunk bed room and a pack and play fit well in the other bedroom for my 2 year old. All beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and had all of the necessities for our stay. We had more than enough room and you could easily have more people in the house. The location was great to be able to go to the beach and downtown. I wouldn’t want to stay further from the beach than this street as it did get a bit far on the way back hauling a wagon with kids and a wagon with beach items when it was hot. The house included a beach wagon and plenty of beach chairs which were a lifesaver! There was also an umbrella but we brought our own. There are also plenty of bikes and beach toys that you are able to use. The little house in the back yard is really cute and a great play area for kids. There were also some games and kids books in the house. We were there for the blueberry festival and watched the parade that went right by the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay with our children and their spouses. The house is roomy, tidy and nicely decorated. We had plenty of space to gather indoors or outdoors for fun family time. We walked to the beach everyday and again in the evening for the beautiful South Haven sunsets! The neighborhood is great and the few blocks walk to the beach was safe and lovely. The house had everything we needed and didn't feel at all like a hotel or a modern staged rental home. The owners communication was the best I have experienced and we felt right at home. Thanks so much! The whole family loved it and we hope to book this place again for future family vacations. This property is a gem!

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect for my daughters and I traveling with five small children. The kids loved the toys, especially the Playhouse and the patio was perfect for us adults. Susan was very helpful and responded quickly when we had a few questions.

Overall a great experience ,they had 4 bikes available ,bags ,badminton and much more,the wagon came in real handy as we used it to haul all our stuff to the beach .Quiet neighborhood and great backyard with a gas grill .

The home is so nice and cozy. Everything you need in the kitchen. Loved the location.

We had a wonderful time in South Haven! This home has a lot of space and a beautiful back yard. It was decorated for our Autumn trip. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. We all agreed we wished we could have stayed longer.

Very cute home, nicely appointed. The backyard is great for kids. There is great park walking distance from the house and it's close to the beach.

This was our second stay here. It is a great little place for a few days. The upstairs is not central air so leaving doors open at night is helpful. The kids enjoyed the play house and basketball. The outside shower is nice for rinsing everyone off.

Very clean, quiet and a short walk to the beach or downtown.

A few Aunts and cousins for a family baby shower- lovely space and big yard. Close to town and lake. Loved it!

Our stay was perfect for all the ages. The house had everything we needed and more. The thoughtfulness of items was appreciated from the kids step stool for the bathroom sink to bikes and beach wagon. The amount of bath and kitchen towels was great and the quality excellent. The playhouse and fenced backyard kept the kids busy and safe. The kids park was easy walking distance and a very nice park. I personally loved the older home. The built in bookcases, squeaky floors and unexpected cabinets. The house was clean, fresh and relaxing.

Only thing missing was a dishwasher, had a great time at this place.

Very cute home, clean, comfortable beds and beautiful outdoor areas. The grounds are manicured and everything was in bloom and beautiful. The proximity to the beach was great- just a few blocks down. Loved the added touch of beach chairs to take to the beach and the master porch in the morning for coffee.

We enjoyed our stay in South Haven at this property. We were 4 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 8. The kids enjoyed the playhouse and the basketball hoop. The adults appreciated the backyard with the fire pit and the lovely outdoot patio. Beach access was only a few blocks away. Nice house and nice location.

Great location. We would definitely stay again. The house is spacious and the backyard is wonderful.

You can walk to the beach or the shopping on Phoenix. House is homey and has a lot of neat features including a nice backyard, playhouse, and bikes and beach games in the garage.

My family and I finally got a chance to visit South Haven again as we used to ever summer 20+ years ago. This was the perfect house and location! Inside of the home was very clean and just enough room to feel comfortable and meet our needs (bedrooms/baths). The outside area we mostly occupied since the weather was beautiful. The patio was huge and had very comfy seating. The fire pit area was also great and especially the adorable little house with so many cute toys to keep my kids occupied. Definitely recommend this lake house! Oh and we brought our own bikes, but they had so many to choose from too. Another great plus! We hope to be back soon!

We loved our time in South Haven and we were so comfy in Susan’s home. The location was great-a few blocks from the beach and our kids loved either biking or walking the trips to and from. We did part of the Van Buren trail nearby. We had a couple of rainy days and her home was perfect for us all having space for playing/relaxing in multiple areas. We would most definitely return.
