Stayed Aug 29, 2025We loved the open kitchen and den area, as well as the large dining table and island. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck, which has a gorgeous view, especially at sunset. This is a great spot on the lake and we enjoyed swimming, floating, paddleboarding, and boating every day. The accommodations were great; we heard a little grumbling from our adult children who slept in the bunk beds, lol. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 20, 2025This place is out of this world. It was very comfortable for all 5 of us. My husband and I, our 17 year old and my in-laws. Updated and very clean. It has a private boat dock. A quiet and friendly neighborhood. All I can say is we had so much relaxing time and very very peaceful. We already rebooked our next stay for next year.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025The house was cute, no frills. Older, but clean. We enjoyed the very short drive to Rock Castle Marina to put the boat in the lake. We then had a two minute boat ride (or less) to Trinity Lake House's covered boat dock where our boat stayed all week. It was handy and convenient. The water pressure could be better, but overall we really enjoyed the house and time spent on the lake.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025First of all, we can’t say enough about Ms June, the housekeeper. House sit down l and can’t see it from road. She just happened to be driving down the road and she helped us. Then a storm rolled and the power went off in the early morning hours. She came down to the house and got our coffee pot and took it to a place that had a generator. What an act of kindness. She said that if the power didn’t come back on, she would bring us landscape lights so we could see inside the house. She saved us a trip to town to get coffee and flashlights. The property is very cozy and the view is amazing. It had everything thing we needed. The slope down to the lake isn’t bad except for us old people! Kids and grandkids didn’t have a problem with it at all. Boat slip was nice and the fishing was amazing. Many memories made at this property.

Stayed May 9, 2025Down side to this place was the drive its narrow and steep, we had a boat and tho there is a dock there is no bumpers or power. So everytime we took the boat out we had to work with getting the boat hucked up and turned around. Its a older house and has some moisture problems.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024Couldn’t want a better location and view. Dock area is great! House needs some touch up to get rid of some mold and mud dauber wasps around exterior doors. But layout of house was great. Kitchen was stocked and appliances were great. Plenty of towels and linens. Need replacement adirondack chairs and maybe a new remote (very temperamental) Had a great time overall!

Stayed Jun 16, 2024This was exactly what we were looking for. The house has everything you need to prepare family meals and spaces are comfortable and accommodating. There were only 5 of us but I feel a larger group wouldn't be an issue. We spent most of our days hanging out on the swim deck, which turned out to be a major perk for us. We had never stayed in a lake house before but when we do, the swim deck is something we will always look for. We swam, fished, floated around on tubes and played on the kayaks we brought with us. A couple of nights we cooked over a fire we built in the firepit with reasonably priced firewood bought a few minutes down the road. One day we rented a boat from Prizer Point that is less than 10 minutes away and even closer by water to your dock. We tubed right in our bay which made it very convenient to have our home base right there. Also recommend the bison and elk prairie, we got to see several bison up very close. There is a corner store and restaurant located a mile away and I highly recommend both. They are operated by incredible and friendly people. The corner store will have most of your staples. If you're looking for a regular grocery store it's 20 minutes away and the closest Walmart is 30 minutes away. We made both trips during our stay which was not an issue as we like to venture out and see the country side. For the fishermen, we were able to catch several catfish, white bass, bluegill, and largemouth right from our dock. Great stay full of sun and fun.

Stayed Jun 3, 2024Wonderful few days on the lake. Based on the exterior doors and hardwood floors, this is an older house that has been beautifully updated. The open floor plan for the living area and kitchen would be great for a small family reunion or 2 families. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third bedroom could sleep a whole family. The sun room addition is what clinched this rental for me. There's also a nice deck on the back. I could sit inside or outside and see the lake. It's slightly downhill to the dock but my 90 year old father didn't have any problem with his cane and a little assistance. The dock is a nice amenity. My husband fished from the dock. We rented a pontoon boat one day and were able to tie off to the dock and go back to the house for a while. The only warning I will give potential renters is that the house is not clearly marked. We had looked on Google maps before going so we knew about where it was and what to look for. Otherwise, we would have driven up and down Solomon Dr. trying to figure it out. There are 4 mailboxes in a row across from the house and the numbers for this house aren't easy to read. Also, dark out curtains in the bedrooms would be nice. Overall, we had a nice vacation and we if ever go back to Lake Barkley, I would consider staying here again. I miss the view already.
