Nice clean cottage right down the road from a public beach access. Charming beach decor and owner provided everything a guest would need for their stay. Walking distance to good food and coffee shop. Would definitely stay again!

I visited for a quick weekend getaway and it was just what I needed. Clean, comfortable and very relaxing.

Place was great! Hard not to have a good time! I will definitely be rebooking in the near future.

This is our second year in a row staying here for girls weekend! Tammy and Steve are great hosts! If your looking for a place to stay for a close walk to the beach or Wineries this is the cutest place and great location with a hot tub to wind down your day in!

This was year 5 for our girl's weekend in this beautiful home that offers you anything you could need and still make you feel at home. All the extra touches that Tammy and Steve offer excels above other homes that we've rented and we couldn't be happier to continue coming to this wonderful area because we are located perfectly to get to anything. This includes a very short walk to a beautiful beach, with all your Beach needs ready there waiting for you. We hated to leave, but already know that we will be back for year 6!!

The Lake Escape was one of our best short term rental stays! The owners were really kind and thoughtful, and they really thought of everything when it came to the property, including providing supplies for the beach, fire, and kitchen. This place was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Truly appreciated the kid friendly games, all the beach toys/equipment, books to read, amenities, everything! So many small details thought of and accounted for. Restaurant right in the backyard, which was great when we had a 50 minute wait :) My husband and I can be nitpicky and we truly had next to nothing to be improved upon with our stay here - everything was so cozy and perfect. Kids are aged 4-8 and the walk to the beach was incredibly simply and easy. They LOVED the waterproof Uno! The ONLY issue with our trip was that we didn't book it for longer :) Thank you so very much!

Overall, this house was well stocked and very clean. The two rooms without vents got warm as it got hot the week we stayed. The owners communicated well and answered questions quickly.

Nice house with cute decor gave it a home-y feel. Kitchen was a good size and stocked with all the essentials. Lots of books and games for entertainment. Owners were very nice and responsive. Great location, Berrien Beach only a 5 min minute walk down the street!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! It’s beautiful, clean, and has everything you need! The owner was so kind and set up the pack and play for my daughter. The hot tub was great perk as well! It’s centrally located, with nice outdoor space too! We can’t wait to come back next year.

My cousins and i stayed here for our annual girls weekend and i was better than we expected. The photos don't quite do this place justice. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the house. It had everything we needed including pool/beach towels, robes for the hottub, washer/dryer etc. We got lucky with a warm weekend in march and were able to enjoy our drinks on the patio/deck. We also took full advantage of the hottub which was very private despite there being many houses & a restaurant basically all in the backyard. There is a large shared yard between all the cottages which could support all sorts of yard games. I liked it so much I booked it for my family (husband 2yo 4yo) for 3 nights this summer. The walk to the public beach was also surprisingly short - lets see how i feel about it with kids but I truly can't wait to come back! Thanks for hosting us!

Everything at this rental way amazing. Clean upon arrival, perfect location, and a cozy vibe made this location a perfect choice. The host had the pack and play set up for our youngest ahead of time, which was super helpful. If we are ever back in this location we will return to this spot!

Perfect for a quick family vacation to enjoy the beach, dunes, hiking, wineries, and just the home itself! The hosts provided a very nice welcome note with treats. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants and just had short drives to everything else.

We usually go north for our girls weekend but switch it up this year to explore a new place. It did not disappoint the area is perfect and the house was AMAZING!! Easy checkin gave great recommendations and the house is perfect! All the decor was sooo cute and not only did they have well stocked kitchen but the whole house down to phone chargers for you could not have asked for a better place to stay so much so we want to come back to this house in future!

We really enjoyed the house & the surrounding area. The hot tub was great & the house is well equipped with everything you need, including fans for the bedrooms & robes for the hot tub.

Such a refeshing stay after a very busy summer and early fall. Even with all the activity around, the place was quiet. The area was nice for walks and we enjoyed the strolls along the beach as the sun sets. My wife told me on the last night that she was going to really miss the sunsets followed by time in the hot tub. It was a great trip and we really enjoyed being able to relax, recuperate, and reconnect. Thank you! Hope to be back soon.

We had an amazing time at this property. So very clean!! The host has truly thought of everything to ensure guests are comfortable and well-cared for. From a small Bluetooth speaker to makeup wipes, and even plenty of towels and robes, no detail was overlooked. The kitchen was fully equipped, making our stay incredibly convenient. The home is just steps from the beach and thoughtfully provided insect repellent and sunscreen. Additionally, it's perfectly located next to the Roadhouse for late-night sliders and a coffee shop for morning brews. The hot tub was well-maintained and a fantastic way to unwind. We will definitely return to this wonderful getaway.

Friends and I just enjoyed our 4th annual trip staying in this cozy home. There's a reason we keep coming back...the owners do all they can to make our stay comfortable! We'll be back for year 5!!

This is our second time staying at this property which I think speaks for itself! There’s just enough space for kids to play inside and a spacious yard outside. The best aspect though is the proximity to the beach!
