Lake Cottage with screen patio, fire pit and dock, close to downtown Mt Dora

Absolutely charming cottage! All the amenities of home and more. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. So peaceful, such a hidden gem. And the sunsets from the dock take your breath away. We can’t wait to go back!!

We went fishing on the lake, kayaking was available on-site, the sunsets are gorgeous. It’s 15-45 minutes away from Kelly’s Park, Wekiva, Devil’s Den, and Blue, all natural springs. Loved the personal attention!

Everything was great. Convenient for a short drive to town. Loved being by the lake. Nice kitchen, everything was clean and the bathroom towels were nice. I suggest better lighting on the bedroom, it's really dark in there! Thank you!

Bobbi was great to deal with - prompt responses to communications, very accommodating, and understanding. The property was excellent as well. It was clean, comfortable, and well supplied.

Immaculate inside! Only difference was a few pieces of furniture from the pictures. It was awesome to set on dock at sunset while hubby fished!

Bobbi’s property and cottage were lovely. The listing and amenities were accurate.

First day not hot water but the following day they fixed. Second bedroom didn’t have a closet to hang clothes.

From the moment we turned down the private lane and saw the beautiful lake view in front of us, we knew we had made a Great Decision to book the Lake Cottage! Check-in was easy and we were welcomed to a wonderfully designed space full of thoughtful details. The cottage has a full kitchen with all the essentials that one could hope for (including a Kuerig). Each of the two bedrooms was beautifully decorated and the bed that was chose was incredibly comfortable. . . the best night's sleep we have had in awhile! The bathroom has been beautifully redone and provided plenty of storage, soaps/shampoo, and a generous sized quartz countertop. We spent each morning and evening out on the screened porch enjoying the peace and quiet and lake view. The Lake Cottage was an easy drive to Downtown Mount Dora, offering a wonderful selection of quaint shops and restaurants. We appreciated the close proximity as we found ourselves enjoying walking around the picturesque neighborhoods and then escaping back to the screened in porch and solitude. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and are planning our next trip to the Lake Cottage and Mount Dora. Thank you for sharing your Wonderful Vaca Rental with us... We can't wait to come back!

Just a quick 2 day trip but it was wonderful. The place was very comfortable, with a nice living room, modern kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a fire pit, and a screen room. It was private and close to everything. . everything!

We booked this location because of its proximity to the venue where we attended a wedding. It was perfect for our weekend stay: quiet location with everything we needed nearby, comfortable beds and couches, and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

The accommodations were as advertised. Unfortunately, Hurricane Milton did extensive damage in the area and we were unable to boat as we had hoped.
