Very pleasant, comfortable cottage that I felt 'at home' in at the outset. Loved the knotty pine, screen porch, and proximity of lake front.

It's a nice cabin, niot very big but with enough space for the six of us, and very cozy. There is no table inside the house for eating, but a big table, rocking chairs and a sofa in the large screened porch, were you have a great look over the lake. It was great to have direct access to the lake. Because there are stones and some mussels it is recommandable to wear shoes or to use the rack to go into water. There are two public beaches nearby, too, but we never used it because our kids loved to swim at our place, they had a lot of fun with the floaties the hosts had provided for us. We were very excited find out that there were also a canoe and a kayak we could use. The place has two fire pits, one of them set very beautifully at the lakeside, with chairs and a bench to sit there and enjoy the view over the lake. The hosts even provided firewood. The AC in the house was only in two of the bedrooms and quite loud, and not in the living room. But that turned out not to be a big problem, as it was a quite area, so we would open the windows in the night. And in day time we wouldn't stay in the living room but use the nice porch, which offered a fresh place even at hot weather. The hosts very were friendly and supportive and nice to talk to, helping us with everything we needed.

This cabis was perfect for our family who were visiting New York and Vermont for my grandsons wedding. Beautiful lake view, amazing lakeside seating, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Host was incrediblly generous and gave us firewood for a relaxing fire. Very kind folks! The local meat market/grocery was a treat and the folks there were so kind. I recommend the meat market for sure!

We were 3 generations and we had a great time. We used cabin as a central point for our adventures and loved the tranquility of the area to unwind. Beautiful. Note for future stay: bring more bath towels, paper towels (especially if you have kids), fire wood for fire pits and baking pans in case it rains.

We had a 4 day trip to the lake. The house is a very cute cabin with its own personal access to the lake. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. The marina restaurant on the peninsula was great. I would stay here again.

We loved watching the moon rise and soaking in the beauty of that beautiful lake! The house was a comfortable spot to start and end the day, and we appreciated the cooking gear and utensils.
