Stayed Jun 7, 2025We've just arrived back from a week with a group of friends in this large, welcoming house in Le Crotoy. Severine, the caretaker, kindly agreed an earlier arrival time for us, and was helpful, friendly and immediately we felt at home. Seven bedrooms (two of which are in a separate annex at the bottom of the garden) ensured privacy for all, along with four bathrooms. Living/dining areas are well laid out and spacious, and the cooks in our group appreciated the excellent kitchen. A couple of things were missing - tea towels, large glasses - but we just bought these, so not a problem. The garden is a good size, although perhaps needs a little love, and unfortunately there were building works going on next door, but that is not the owner's fault! It certainly didn't spoil things for us. Supermarkets are about a 10-minute drive away and the walk into town is all on the flat. It does take about half an hour, if you're not young and fit (like us!), but there are lots of shops and restaurants once you get there. And as an added bonus, you are right on the beach! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
