Stayed Dec 31, 1969As soon as I stepped through the front door I felt like this is just the kind of place that you don't want to leave - perfect for kicking back and relaxing amongst world treasures collected and a hint of the tropics in the garden surrounding the pool and jacuzi. The furnishings, artifacts, art and amenities were all high end and most interesting. You can tell that a world traveler with exquisite taste did the interiors. Oh yes, gorgeous and spacious kitchen as well. I would highly rate and recommend this property. It was fantastic!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was my first visit to the desert. Given the time of year (Labor Day) I was concerned about the prospective heat and what that might mean in terms of limiting activities. I needn't have worried! The house was terrific! Of course there was the pool and an excellent pool area for early morning snoozing. During the heat of the day (and at night) the house had great built-in entertainment, from wi-fi to TV/DVD. Excellent kitchen, bar and BBQ. Also, it is superbly located, close to the La Quinta Hotel (with its restaurant options) and a short, but vigorous early morning walk to La Quinta Village for coffee and pastries. All in all, a perfect end-of-summer break in a fabulous house!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This home was very peaceful and the pool is lovely. Although this house has not been very recently updated it has pretty much everything one could want (including an unusually good video and music collection) and is very well maintained and kept immaculately. The third bedroom casita was nice, the only complaint about it was that it was a little musty. La Quinta is a great spot but in the winter somewhat deserted, not surprisingly, because of the heat. (Which we loved though on both counts). The Old Town is a short drive away and probably a lot more bustling during the winter months. Not much was open during our stay but that was not surprising to us. It is particularly nice that the pool has palms and vegetation that offer shade at different times of the day. The hot tub only worked for two days of our week and although we did call about getting it fixed, and eventually got a call back, the pool person, sadly, was not able to get it done before we left. This would have been more of an annoyance if the evenings had been cooler than they were. One thing that was a little unsettling was that The Enclave was pretty much devoid of other homeowners or guests (summer) and even though this is a gated area it felt a little edgy in some ways because it was so deserted. In fact the house across the street was broken into and police were there doing a search on one day. All in all, it is a lovely home and the pool area is great with a nice view of the hills behind the home. La Quinta is very well situated and not as busy as Palm Desert or Palm Springs which was really nice. I would recommend this home for people who want to spend time in the pool and relax.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Thank you for letting us be your guests! What a nice weekend our family enjoyed! The house is beautiful, and Dennis, the property manager, was very nice and helpful. Our whole family, including our dog, truly relaxed and enjoyed our weekend at Calle Flora. My husband and son-in-law enjoyed playing golf at the beautiful La Quinta Resort Dunes course and Mountain course; the girls and I relaxed by the pool; a truly wonderful weekend away! Again, we thank you for making this a fantastic getaway; everything you could possibly need is provided & every detail is wonderful! We all look forward to another trip soon!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Spent four days there with two other couples. The house was exactly as advertised. Everything was strictly first class. Loved the pool and spa. Lots of room inside. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the desert area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Upon opening the front door to this grand home my wife exclaims, So this is how the rich and famous live!!! Walk into the grand foyer with it's high ceilings looking into the living room with it's subtle tones, floor to ceiling windows that view the pool/spa, outdoor entertaining area, a fireplace that is accessed from both this area and the formal dining room. Along with the well equipped kitchen and the outdoor BBQ facilities we were able to entertain with ease. Both guests and host were extremely happy! The large master suite viewing windows also overlook the pool/spa and the wonderful soaking tub had it own private garden to enjoy. Quiet relaxing luxury. There is another beautiful bedroom in the main house along with a detached casitas for our guests privacy. All the high tec aminities were included,DVD,VCR,wide screen TV's, sound system, computes, and fox for our convenience. I am so glad we were able to experience this exceptional home and, along with our little dog that we were able to bring along, had simply a wonderful holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We found this house to be just what the doctor ordered! We lounged by the pool, read books, cooked great meals in the gourmet kitchen, watched the wide screen TV and just chilled! The setting could not be more restful and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave. Everything was just wonderful! We'll be back!
