La Mer at Callala Beach - Views to The Sea

Excellent location and house!

The house good location, clean , beautiful for the holidays

We loved staying at La Mer - it had everything we needed and more. Such a beautiful and quiet location but where we could do something different everyday! The property was amazing and just steps to the white sand and gorgeous blue sea of Jervis Bay. When the weather was hot we went to a different beach everyday - including a Catamaran ride to Long Beach with dolphin escort! When a bit more overcast we did Treetops, Jamberoo and a ferry ride to The nearest biggest town. Food at the local bowling club was excellent as was the Chinese at Callala Bay. BBQs at the house every other night. Just brilliant and everything a short car ride away!!!

La Mer is high qual...this was the text my American sister-in-law sent when she arrived before the rest of us at La Mer. Smartly painted/dressed, clean, and clearly loved by the owners. We had four couples...and that was OK because we are a close family...but better suited to 2 x families with kids I reckon. 3x Upstairs bedrooms are smartly attired but small, and share a bathroom area...but that is balanced by a generous kitchen and living area, with latest technology...plus a downstairs room that has its own bathroom and bunks. Adults who slept downstairs said the queen bed bunks were a bit short and maybe not designed for adults...but all agreed that if they owned this place, they would present it the same way. We also rented a beach front house at the same time for our teenage kids...so we expected to spend more time at that house...but actually La Mer is v well situated relative to the beach. Stroll across the park and you are there. Overall La Mer is great...and we'll definitely look to rent again when we return.

The house was in an excellent location being right on the beach. The house was lovely with a wonderful huge back verandah. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bbq was great. Bedrooms were a bit on the small side but very comfortable. The downstairs area was an added bonus with extra beds, tv and sitting room. The house is probably not ideal for an infant with the stairs and the noise echo and we also had to bring a cot, high chair and safety gate. Overall it was a fabulous house for our family get together with everything we needed.

We had such an enjoyable time at beautiful Callala Beach. Trace our host was always available and answered my messages within moments. The house was spotless and beautifully appointed, you can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into ensuring that guests really feel at home. The welcome gifts were much appreciated and the towels provided as well as all cleaning supplies, Nespresso pods and the handy Dyson cordless for the sand! Everything was easy and within reach. We will definitely be booking this house again, directly opposite Callala beach, the gym park in front was an added bonus. We fell asleep and woke up to waves, a perfect break!

A fantastic location, super comfortable and beautiful home. The kids had a blast and we even got to entertain! Will be back to La Mer ❤️

Large, airy and well furnished but suitable for families. Great outdoor areas and large covered verandah Appreciated the vast amount of crockery, pans and sharp knieves (I always bring my own). Thoughtful touches such as large bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Welcome bottle of wine was appreciated. We didn’t use downstairs area but it’s perfect for children. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful modern home , nice view, across the road from the beach and at night there is always a beautiful breeze.
