A 1.5km from the sea and the first beaches of Cancal, sheltered in the heart of a peaceful and sunny valley, this renovated stone farmhouse of 100m2, built in the early 18th century, can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Outside, around the house, a beautiful walled garden of 300m2 with south-west facing terrace in the heart of a preserved environment and typical of the Emerald Coast combining greenery and stone, a parking space for three fourcars.

In height behind the house and accessible by a staircase, a beautiful orchard of 800m2 planted with hazel, apple, plum, fig tree and other fruit trees.

On the ground floor, an open kitchen, a dining room, a living room around a beautiful stone fireplace, a bathroom with toilet, exposed beams.

Upstairs, three bedrooms, two with double bed (possibility to add a cot on request) and one with four bunk beds, a bathroom with toilet, exposed beams.

Kitchen equipment: gas hob, combined microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster.

    This was a really lovely stay in an old granite stone Gites typical of the area. The house is located down a long country road with a couple of other secluded houses there as well. Really remote feeling although we’re only less than a 10min from Cancale centre, if you have bikes this place would be perfect. The coast and beaches are around 2miles away by road and 30 mins from St Malo. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 kids, grandmother, parents and 2 11 year old boys. Lots outside to occupy them, including a nice orchard with a separate field at the end with some horses. The house was great, the host was responsive and communicative all through Vrbo and was really attentive and gives plenty of details about the house. The only reason I’d not give a 5 star (I’d rate this 4.5 if I could!) was that the windows had a lot of mold around the frames, and I understand this is an old house with single frame windows, the rest of the house was spotless and lovely to relax in on their 2 big sofas. Overall superb house and a superb host made this one where we would come back and stay again next year for sure!
