Lots of space! Great house to get snowed in at.

There was a blizzard warning, and the roads were closed coming from the west and coming from the east there was no way to get to the home. The management company would not reschedule my visit to a later date nor would they provide any refund of any sort, very unprofessional business, I would not book through them again.

We loved staying here for a group ski trip in Tahoe! House was clean, conveniently located near all the ski resorts, and beds were comfortable. Overall no complaints!

Says sleeps 8 but one bed is a pull out sofa so it might not work for everyone. Also there was only the minimum amount of dishes and mugs so we were scrambling a little to have dishes for meals.

Even the beds had nice mattresses. We loved the simulated fireplace in the master- great ambiance for the mountains! My only complaint is that all the kitchenware (pots, pans, cutting board, knives, etc) felt like an overly used hodgepodge of things. Scratched and dented pans, worn out flimsy cutting board and dull knives. I had nicer used kitchenware fresh out of college than this kitchen has. The dishwasher was also very cheap- seemed out of place for a million dollar plus house. For a small amount of money, the owner could really improve the kitchen experience. Particularly if they want renters to keep glassware and flatware fresh and clean. Best advice, bring your own gear if you like to cook. I always bring my own chefs knife, cutting boards and spices when traveling by car. Thanks goodness I did that this time.Overall I’d definitely rent again, just hope to see the kitchen refreshed next time. There’s a kitchen sale at Macy’s everyday- hint, hint:-)

The house is very well located on a quiet street but close to the grocery stores and other amenities (5/10 min drive). The property has a lot of natural light that streams in from the large windows. We are a family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. With the 3 bedrooms all on the upper level it was very convenient. The upper level had a small study space that was helpful and the balcony on this level was also nice to use in the evenings. The week in June when we were here was really warm so we made full use of the fans that were provided in each of the bedrooms. It would be nice to have one fan provided for the lower level as well. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for us and we would recommend it to anyone who needs a break from the busy city life.

I visit Truckee at least once a year during the summer, and stay in the same area due to the quiet neighborhood and central location. I thought something would be different due to everyone getting out after COVID. Pleasantly surprised that Truckee hasn’t changed. Cabin was clean, even though the availability showed it had been occupied the night before. No issues with cleanliness! Appliances all worked and was glad to see all updated televisions in most of the rooms. NOTE - If a rental still has the old “tube type” televisions, that is is sign the owners don’t want to spend any money. Turnkey manages this property and they are doing a pretty good job. You can text them with any questions and get a quick response. Also, they routinely update you with any and all information regarding approaching dates, fees due, and cabin details. Look forward to renting again!
