Cozy and clean, just as described. Cool old house updated to modern trends. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and especially sauna. Locally made snacks and coffee were a nice touch. Easy walking to downtown shops and restaurants -- including several within a block. Great communication from host. Entire visit was smooth and easy.

The Barrel Retreat was pleasantly clean and had every amenity available for a wonderful, relaxing stay. The bed/bedding was super comfy and provided a good night's sleep. The location is quiet with easy access to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The host checked in on us daily. We definitely recommend this gem!

Great home to stay for a getaway! Hosts Greg and Emily were easily available via the sites communication portal. The space itself was exactly as advertised and even better in person. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

What a great place! Nicely renovated old home with beautiful touches. Loved the welcome packet, coffee & pretzels, and the furniture was really comfortable as well as the bed. Soaking in the spa was a highlight, and drying off with the provided towels felt extra luxurious. Easy to get in and out of the place, and the location was perfect for walking downtown.

We loved our stay. Very clean and well appointed! Very close to downtown Sandpoint. Comfortable bed and we loved the sauna and hot tub. We would have preferred to have a few more blinds/curtains in some of the windows. It is easy to see in, especially from the pizza restaurant next door. The bathroom is not right off of the main bedroom, so you do have to walk by that window to get there.

Stayed with my gf for a trip to schweitzer. The house was perfect for two, cozy, clean, and private with businesses on each side (the pizza place next door is great too). 25 minutes from the mountain, the sauna and hot tub were great for recovery after long days snowboarding. Will definitely be back soon

From start to finish, this house was absolutely perfect! It was spotless and clean. The backyard with the hot tub and sauna were dreamy, even in the winter! The hosts did not spare a single detail when it came to the design, decor, and the guides they prepared for their guests to reference for things to do, places to eat, etc. It was by far the best VRBO experience we have ever had. Thank you so much!
