King Bed 'Romantic Tiny Home Escape' Cozy up!

Perfect for us!

The location was great — it’s in a peaceful area that’s perfect for walking, and the home itself is decorated really nicely with a cozy, welcoming feel.We did, however, experience a few issues during our stay. There were multiple flies inside the house daily, likely because the windows and front door aren’t properly sealed. The home also wasn’t as clean as expected and could use a thorough deep clean. The shower drained slowly and tended to pool while in use, and the pillows and blankets in the living room had an unpleasant smell.Additionally, we were woken up on two separate mornings by construction crews redoing the asphalt walkways right outside the front door without any prior notice, which was quite loud and disruptive.Overall, while we enjoyed the area and decor, a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness would make this a much more comfortable stay.

Nice quiet tiny home community! Only about 10 minutes from downtown Galena. The property was clean and cute, beds were very comfortable. My fiance and I also enjoyed that there was a resort nearby with good food as well if we didnt want to go into town. Would recommend this to any couple looking for a quiet getaway near a town with tons of history!

The property itself was fine, however the neighbor was not. Upon arriving my husband let our dog out of the car only to be scolded by a neighbor that our dog was not on a leash. Our dog wasn't even fully out of the vehicle when this occurred. We usually leash her when all 4 legs are on the ground and hadn't even gotten to that point yet when this unpleasant exchange took place. The neighbor went on to say that if security saw that,we would pay a hefty fine and as a homeowner (she apparently was) it was her responsibility to protect the property. This woman went on and on and we had to enter our rental in order to get away from her. When we saw she left the parking area, we went outside to grab our luggage and food items, only to have her come out of her home and start suggesting that we eat in the lodge as not only do they have the best food but as guests of the property, we should consider it our obligation. Once again, she kept going on and and I finally had to tell her that we were here only for a short stay and that we brought my dying mother on a last hurrah and preferred to be left alone. We did not see her again until two days later when she was at our door at 7am. I had just gotten up and was still in my p.j.'s when I heard a knock on the door. She lectured me about how the U.S. overuses electricity and that while it was light out, the outside light was on. She kept talking nonsense and I had to shut the door on her. Very uncomfortable stay w/nosy neighbor.

This property was excellent, well-equipped,very clean , very well maintained, just perfect for our stay. It was cozy and very comfortable.

The house was perfect for our short getaway. Everything we needed and very responsive host. Comfortable bed. Lovely area. Very quiet. Enjoyed the use of the Owner’s Club.

Great Stay

Excellent property right in the heart of Galena territory. Clean great neighborhood, close to all amenities. Can’t beat it.

Cozy little cottage tucked away in a beautiful hilly territory. So quiet and peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
