Located in the historic brick Foundry building, Key West Found is a spacious two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath, three-story townhome. Enter through a wrought iron gate to your own tropical landscape and have a seat on the private front porch with seating for four to enjoy an evening cocktail.
Decorated in a whimsical Key West style with new living room furniture including a queen sleeper sofa, the first floor features an open and airy living/dining room area, kitchen, and half bath. The gleaming white kitchen is well stocked for preparing a quick breakfast on your way out to explore the island, or a fancy dinner featuring your fresh catch.
The second-floor master bedroom has a king bed with a bath en-suite and a private balcony. The third-floor guest bedroom has twin beds that can be converted to a king, with another full bath en-suite. Other amenities include: one covered parking space, close by community swimming pool, and high-speed internet service.
Truman Annex is a private gated community within walking distance to the daily Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, two blocks from infamous Duval Street where you can explore the bars, restaurants, galleries, and tourist attractions in Old Town Key West. And down the road is Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park for swimming, snorkeling, and a shady spot for bar-b-Que.
Key West is the place to visit the lively nightlife and relax in the historic charm, flamboyance, and conch-style architecture that early Bahamian settlers made famous. It embodies a clash of the past and the present, and every building (including this rental) in Key West reflects this eclectic ambiance!

- This home is on a monthly pest control schedule. The area of Key West is home to many insects such as termites, no-see-ums, and mosquitos. Pest control can not eliminate these insects during the swarming season. You may also encounter geckos, lizards, iguanas, frogs, and chickens during your stay in the area.
- Key West is a resort island where renovation of existing historic properties, new construction, and road repair sometimes occur without forewarning. AvantStay is not liable for any guest inconveniences caused due to construction in the area.
- Please note that if requested, the two twin beds can be converted into one king bed with bedding for a fee of $75. Please ensure you make this request at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note that max occupancy includes infants.
Parking Details:
Parking for one vehicle
No large trucks, trailers, mobile homes, vans, campers or similar vehicles shall be parked in the Truman Annex.
Motorcycles and scooters must be parked in the parking lot and not on sidewalks or porches.
All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass (obtained at the Security Guardhouse).
All others will be subject to ticketing and towing.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Overall the location and accommodations were outstanding. The accommodations were immaculate and very nicely decorated. My children did say the air conditioning was weak on the 3rd floor and it was too warm at night. Otherwise everything was great!
We had another great stay in the Foundry building in the Truman Annex. Avant Stay was easy to communicate with and responsive to our needs. (although they charged $75.00 to put the third floor twins together as a King). The app and text number made things quick. The property itself was clean and very convenient to Duval but yet quiet once the night was over due to the locked pedestrian gates. The ground floor had a severely buckling tile floor. Avant Stay acknowledged that it was being replaced but during our stay would crack and leave dried caulking all over the floor.

The place was fantastic - wonderful location, very clean and big enough for our family. Sitting on the front porch was absolutely perfect. The only comments I would add are that the pool is so small and always too busy for us to enjoy. The photo is not inaccurate, it’s completely accurate, just so tiny. And the chairs on the 2nd floor outdoor area are plastic and look like they may collapse at any moment. We definitely didn’t feel comfortable using them.
Rental agency was fine the house was clean and had plenty of towels. Our only complaint was the tv on main level was small and was not a smart tv. The tv on the third floor was the size of a computer monitor and the remotes didn't work correctly with it. Our suggestion to owners would've to upgrade all the tvs

Of course, my roommates were college friends ( class of ‘77 ) so there was no shortage of laughter! We were a five minute walk from Truman Park and Mallory Square. Duval Street was also walkable as well as Ernest Hemingways house. Restaurants galore along the way. We had an issue with one toilet plugging twice but each time it was dealt with in a timely matter. Do not hesitate to rent this property!

Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in Key West Found in the Truman Annex. It's perfectly located within a 20 minute walk to many of our favorite things in Key West. The Condo was super clean and comfortable. Check in / Check out was a breeze! We especially loved sitting on the front porch in the morning. The palm trees and foliage provide just enough privacy. Everything in the condo was as described. Lots of great windows for natural light. The beds were comfortable. There are lots of stairs since it's a 3 story condo so the people sleeping on the 3rd floor need to be prepared for that. The 3rd floor toilet clogged a lot and we had to call. Not sure if it was every fixed but it was a minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.
When we got the correct unit, all was good. The condo is in a great location, was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen supplies could have been better. I know it said to bring necessities, but I would think storage containers for leftovers or baggies or some sort of foil or something besides the grocery bag to use would be available. Also, clean salt and pepper and maybe dry condiments would be nice.
