The property is almost new and in excellent condition. Check in was a breeze. There’s a nice covered deck/porch. The deep freeze easily holds 150 lbs of salmon filets, and most likely more than that. We had to stop at 100 lbs. The hosts are very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were looking for a home base to fish on the Kenai River. This is a nice tiny cabin with a new wood smell. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator (full size) and Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom has walk-in shower, nice hot water, wonderful soaps and thick luxurious towels. There is a small table with 2 chairs and a couch. The lower sleeping area has 2 cot sized beds with nice memory foam mattresses, lovely sheets, comfy quilt and awesome pillows. There is a bedside table with a lamp. There is a closet with a curtain. Stairs lead to a loft with a full size memory foam mattress on the floor. The head space is limited. The host lives in a separate house on site. They are quickly responsive to any questions (cabin heat adjustments) and to re-supply Keurig cups. The dog, Odie, is polite and well trained. There are 3 other cabins on site but we didn't meet any of the other people. The cabin is a 10 minute drive to Centennial Park to access the river to fish. Oh, and yes, we did see 2 moose that visited our back yard, nibbling on the bushes!!!

The cabin was clean, and easy to find, but its listing was not accurate. The two bedroom cabin actually was one open space, and one of the bedrooms was a loft so tiny that this adult could not even sit up in it. We might not have minded if we had known beforehand that was the actual situation there.

Not enough freezer space if you are there for serious fishing and there are other fishermen in camp. Refrigerator in cabin very small if you are there for a couple of weeks. Laundry facilities to change bedding ?
