Kai Nalu, Spacious, Beachfront Home, A/C

Location was great. Very nice home

My wife and I stayed at Kai Nalu with two of our adult sons and daughter-in-laws. It was very accommodating for our ohana gathering. We had 3 rental vehicles between us. There was plenty of parking for all. The kitchen and front room were big enough and well-equipped for family style cooking and meals. The washer and dryer were great and in use every day. Each couple had their own bathroom which was a huge plus. The location is excellent. Most mornings we gathered as a family on the backyard beach to watch the Kauai sunrise. Hearing the waves crashing on the beach morning and night added a touch of perfection to our vacation. Shopping, food and shave ice were all a short walk away. The neighbors on either side were very kind and friendly. For Kauai standards, this is a very large, roomy home. We didnt even have to use the 4th bedroom and bathroom. We were very pleased with our choice. If you're staying in Waimea, this is an excellent choice for family/large group accommodations. If i had to choose between the Waimea Plantation Cottages and Kai Nalu, I'd choose Kai Nalu every time! Mahalo!!!

This house was a very clean and had everthing we needed. We would recommend adding grab bars in the bathroom for elderly/disable. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Outdoor dining area is great. The beach is not crowded at all. The house is spacious and offers a lot of privacy for each bedroom. The kitchen has all the utensils and pot/pans you need. But you will have to buy everything to cook with including oil, sugar, flour, and any baking stuff (baking soda etc).

Loved our stay. Home was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet which was wonderful. Able to walk on the beach daily. Walk to grocery store if needed. Would stay again in a heart beat. Thank you.

The property was perfect for us, clean, and truly well stocked with all the essentials and then some. The location is great, an easy walk to different food choices and the local grocery, and the beach is right out the back door. We literally had zero issues and highly recommend this house!

House was great, neighbors were awesome. It’s not in your typical tourist zone and there is a shortage of good restaurants in the area. We stopped at Costco on our way in and picked up groceries, we cooked at the house several nights, the kitchen is well equipped and we fed 8 adults no problem. Only complaint the ice chest had no lid otherwise everything was as advertised.
