Stayed Aug 14, 2024Loved this place! Friendly, quiet block that’s a quick drive or walk to all that you need & want to do on O’ahu. The amount of living space is incredible & it’s well-equipped with just about everything you might need for an extended stay. The only thing to be aware of in the hotter months is that the a/c is only in the bedrooms so the living spaces aren’t a/c level cool in the daytime. But it’s fine with the fans if you like the warmth & it’s probably not an issue during the rest of the year. Plus the pool is always right there, perfect to cool off! (There is a deep end so keep an eye on kids who aren’t strong swimmers yet.) And best of all, the management team is super responsive & resolved any little issues quickly. Loved that regular cleanings were included & scheduled so it was one less thing to do. Highly recommend, felt like home!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Kahala cottage worked very well for our family of six. Close to Kahala Mall and groceries, Kahala Beach and Diamond Head. The pool with safety fence was great for the kids. Would love to come again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I rented this cottage for members of our team who traveled from the neighbor islands to Honolulu for work. From the beginning, the experience was excellent. I worked with Megan who was very courteous, professional and friendly. She met us at the cottage to personally deliver the keys and ensure everything was OK before she left. The cottage was perfectly located near Kahala Mall and Wholefoods. Only 15 minutes to downtown Honolulu and close to Kahala Beach Park. I would highly recommend this rental and our agent, Megan.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Three of my colleagues and I rented this lovely, clean, and bright home while attending a conference in Honolulu, which was being held at the Hawaii Convention Center. It is a short 10-15 minute drive to the conference center and about the same to snorkeling and hiking near Hanauma bay. The house is within walking distance of a shopping center with a Whole Foods and Longs Drugs, so grocery shopping is very easy. Some of us are fond of running in the morning, so we enjoyed being within a mile or so of Diamond Head Crater National Monument. It is a little out of the way from Waikiki, so you will either need a bus pass or a car to really be able to get around downtown Honolulu. The two air-conditioned bedrooms and two sleeper-sofas provided plenty of space and privacy for us four adults. The home is bright with many windows and has a two sizable but separate living rooms, which is were the sleeper-sofas are located. The pool is large enough to get a decent workout and warm enough to just lounge around chatting over beers. We took full advantage of the kitchen to avoid the cost of eating out every night. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances that were all in excellent working order. It is also fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes for casual use as well as enough for a ten person dinner party. However, you will likely need to buy or bring all of your own cooking supplies as there were no basic supplies such as rice, spices, or condiments available. If the owner would keep the spices, vinegars, and oils and other condiments that the renters bring, then a fine collection would accrue. This would save people the hassle and money of having to purchase those cooking basics. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here and renting from Elite Pacific Real Estate as our stay was comfortable and the rental agent very responsive to our needs. For instance, our agent provided us with a gift basket upon our arrive full of delicious fruit and Hawaiian specialties and was able to promptly accommodate our requests.
