Kabella is a tastefully Don Jacobs designed 2 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation home. The home features gorgeous ocean and ridge views, new furniture and deck, a new private chlorine free hot tub, and a prime location. Visitors will be conveniently located close to both Shell Beach and Stengel Beach. This spacious vacation rental can comfortably house up to 4 guests and your furry friend - tha's right, Kabella is pet friendly! Guests will have access to 2 outdoor parking spaces to ensure room for your vehicles.
A private landscaped garden courtyard leads up to the glass door entrance. Upon entering, take in the impressive features of the great room: floor to ceiling windows showcasing the blue ocean views, open beam ceilings, and a standup tile hearth with wood stove.
The living room has plush furnishings, window seating, and a new Smart TV. WIFI is provided for family entertainment. Right around the corner is a full guest bathroom for everyone to share.
The expansive kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a built-in breakfast island. You will love the opportunity to prepare tasty treats and delicious meals in here. With 3 seats by the breakfast bar keep the chef company! The dining table with seating for 6, just steps away. The table is placed in front of the tall windows allowing you to dine with the ocean as your backdrop.
Step outside and fire up the BBQ. The new Ozone friendly spa (no chlorine) is the perfect place to unwind while you watch a golden sunset disappear behind the horizon. After a dip, a washer and dryer are equipped inside for any swimsuits.
Down the hall are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-size bed and has an attached master bathroom. The master bathroom has a standalone shower. The guest bedroom holds a Queen-size bed. This bedroom has access to the shared full bathroom near the living room.
The Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, 18-hole golf course (open to the public), dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use. RV's, trailers, or mobile homes are strictly not allowed.
Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 Dogs, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per pet per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing Dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee.

Beautiful location with a view of the meadow and the sea beyond. The house is simple, clean, and has everything that one would need. The courtyard offers shelter from the wind. Easy walk to the ocean. Recommend this house highly.
The house is very comfortable and felt very cozy. It is well-maintained and well-equipped. The kitchen is particularly complete. A great house for just relaxing, particularly when the weather is uncooperative for outdoor activity. Convenient to a coastal walking path with spectacular views.
Beautiful place. Already I miss sitting on the deck drinking our morning coffee and watching the waves crash in.
This is a beautiful home, clean, well located, well appointed, and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and I hope to try to stay again. I have been coming to Sea Ranch to visit my father for years and this is to date our best rental. The furniture is in great condition, the owner clearly cares for this property lovingly. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. Definitely recommend.
I bet much enjoyed my stay at this rental. It was a short walk to the water, and you can see the ocean from the deck. The layout was great.
The house had gnats and flies in the kitchen and dining room, which we noted upon check in. We checked in Wednesday evening and someone came to look at the issue Saturday. Her solution, for us to hang fly traps and gnat catchers in the kitchen. Disgusting house!!!! Shame on VRBO!
The property and our stay overall was good to great. A few problems/complaints: 1. The fact that we could not pick up the rental packet/keys a few minutes before the witching hour of 4:00 PM is ridiculous and inconvenient. We were at the rental office at 3:45, finding a locked door, no human, an empty key pickup box, and a sign requiring us to return at 4:00 or later. 2. On the other end (checkout) we were forced to drive back into Gualala to drop off the keys- the opposite direction we needed to go as we left the area. We should have been allowed to leave the keys in the unit upon departure. 3. There was no gas barbecue in the unit. We would have been ok with the Weber which was present, but there was no charcoal or lighter! 4. There was plenty of good, dry firewood, but the provided kindling was too large to be useful, and was wet. 5. After complaining about items 3&4 above to the provided 800- rental help number, we eventually (after 20-30 minute wait) got a text from someone, presumably local support, stating that wood was not to be burned in the barbecue (DUH!) and that charcoal and lighter were available for (OUR) purchase in Gualala, necessitating ANOTHER trip to town (after picking up the keys). We also purchased dry kindling on that trip. Overall, nice unit, great location, great kitchen, spa, et al. It’s rather pathetic however that charcoal, lighter, and dry kindling are apparently “extras”, and the rigid inflexible checkin/checkout times are petty and nit-picking.

A great place for a getaway. A different beach every day! Dogs were deliriously happy seeing and smelling new stuff on the beach. We were very happy with Kabella, comfy, well-stocked. I would say superficially very clean as long as you didn’t look into the cupboards or corners. Cleaners could use a little supervision. Having said that, we realize staffing is critically short everywhere these days so somewhat understandable. Gualala provided adequate supplies (2 good food stores) but restaurants were limited. We would come back for the beauty of the coast, the beaches (and dog park in Sea Ranch) if it were not so arduous a drive for those of us traveling from out of state to get there. Still, we loved the house!
