Stayed May 24, 2024Secluded lake house on Round pond. Great view of the pond from the rear deck. Always enjoyable canoeing. Photos are accurate. Only ten minute drive to downtown Great Barrington.

Stayed Nov 22, 2023This is a great house! It is the only house on this part of the lake, so it was perfectly quiet. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed, so cooking a complete thanksgiving dinner was no problem. We will definitely consider returning!

Stayed Oct 26, 2023This was our third stay at this property. The water view is lovely. Location is excellent for hiking or skiing at nearby Butternut and Catamount. The town of great Barrington is charming. We kayaked on the pond right from the property. Fabulous.

Stayed Aug 17, 2023This is one of the most picturesque locations I have ever visited! The house is charming. Some elements are in need of a freshening, but my only significant disappointment was that the place could have been kept a little cleaner. I blame housekeeping for failing to check on lightbulbs and loose towel racks and keeping carpets and kitchen mats clean. My wife found the hairdryer supplied to be best suited for a Barbie doll rather than an adult. But the overall experience we had was a delightful break from the city, in a beautiful, serene environment.

Stayed Aug 12, 2023Such a peaceful place. Outdoor activities for some, or just enjoy the view from the deck up in the canopy of the trees. Never have to worry about rainy day due to so many choices of cultural, food and niche places in the area. Had an issue, but owner was so quick to respond and accessible. Truly Shangri-la!

Stayed Jun 23, 2023My family loved our stayed at this lovely pond gem! The view of the pond and natural beauty of the area was enjoyed from the large windows, the deck, screened in porch and dock side. The rainy forecast didn’t deter us from having a wonderful time! Everyone slept soundly listening to the birds and toads, too.
