JURERE INTERNATIONAL 5BR HOUSE with pool - 200m from the beach

My review is very positive: in summary I would stay there again. I rented the house for a week, for my whole family, to spend Christmas in Fpolis. Overall, we had an awesome time at the house, and the location is indeed very convenient to walk to beach, stores, bars, bakery, etc. The common rooms in the house follow the open concept, that was so important for the holidays, when we were all cooking/playing games/watching tv/listening to music/bathing in the pool together: it all felt very integrated in that nice & pretty open space. Cooking in the large kitchen was nice and easy. There were plenty of refrigerators/freezers for everything. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice, spacious and clean. The small pool was such a nice treat, we used it a lot more than we thought we would! TV had all the channels you might possibly want, and music system was just great. The house felt more private than I thought: the greenery made the common space very secluded from the street. The owner was very attentive during the whole process, and sent us a few messages during our stay to check that everything was good. He made videos for us to make sure we knew how to use some things in the house, and that was pretty cool. Having said all that, of course just like any house, it has its quirks: the water wasn’t always hot in certain bathrooms, and that’s probably due to our inaptitude in playing with the (tricky) water compression system (but owner explained the system quite well). The common rooms could use some ceiling fans (floor fans were provided, which helped in the summer heat – bedrooms had air-conditioning, thankfully!). One bathroom lacks mirror; and one bedroom didn’t seem to have any outlet (I’m sure owner will look into these). Finally, not much can be done about this, but the street was pretty noisy on weekend nights (it was the season for parties…).

This place is simply amazing! The house has everything you might need for some amazing vacations in one of the most amazing parts of Brasil. This Santa Catarina Island is wonderful, and Jurere is its best part. The house is located in the main street of this town and only two blocks from the beach and close to many restaurants and bars. It has an indoor churrasqueria (believe me you'll love this), a small pool and excellent leisure areas for entertaining guests and relaxing. It has many rooms and it is simply a wonderful place to stay in Jurere. I highly recommend this house!

Great and beautiful home in a perfect location in Florianopolis! Walking distance to the beach, bars, shopping, gym,coffee, and great dining. Just a short bus ride to the lagoa, and not too far from the airport either. Honestly one of the nicest neighborhoods I have ever seen and I've been all over the world. The rooms are spacious, each with its own ac/heating system. The living room/kitchen area are huge and great for everyone there to enjoy some community time or have a few drinks before heading out. All you need to cook or grill is present in the kitchen, with a great choice of eating at the breakfast bar or formal dining table. The house also had wifi/and cable which was a huge bonus. The pool and yard are superb, and laundry machine is convenient as well. And of course special thanks to Andre for helping us out with anything we needed to know about the neighborhood and areas around. Very highly recommended! Andre is very responsive on any inquires, and very supportive in providing addtional tipps about Jurere and suroundings, its scene, restaurant, bars, clubs. the house is very well kept in shape with outdoor pool and terace, huge living room and four double bedrooms. highly recommended.

the location of this house can not be beat. it's 1 block from the beach and taiko, and within 5 blocks of P12, open shopping, second floor, donna, and cafe de la musique. the house is perfect for entertaining, with a massive deck, sliding glass doors and a pool. the bedrooms are good size and each has a bathroom. the house also has two refrigerators which was very helpful. andre, the owner, was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. i highly recommend this rental

Are you traveling as part of a big group that desires easy beach access in Jurere Internacional? If so, look no further than this property. I stayed here with two of my friends in early February 2014, and we had an absolute blast while staying here. The house is literally 2 blocks from the beach and a similar distance from all the important cafes, restaurants, and clubs in Jurere. I think the space is perfect for big groups, with a large living space, tons of outdoor seating, and a refreshing pool in the front yard. The building owners is a nice guy and is very helpful. He has folks on the ground who can help you when you first arrive (groceries, etc.). The housekeeper cooked an awesome shrimp with tomato sauce meal, which really hit the spot after eating at restaurants for a week straight. The owner asks for payment via wire transfer. I found this a little different but spoke to him on the phone and got comfortable. It's totally legitimate, so don't worry about this at all. Have a great visit!

Overall, a house in a great location just steps away from incredible Jurere beaches. The owner is very personable and helpful as well, as he has both contacts in the area (for clubs, etc.) as well as feet on the street for help with groceries upon arrival. The house is great for big groups, with a large open floorplan and cool outdoor seating and pool area. I would highly recommend it. One thing. You will be asked to pay via wire transfer. I was a bit skeptical about this but spoke to the owner on the phone and quickly became comfortable. The owner is a nice guy and very helpful.
