We had a great week at the Bungalos! Everything was perfect until our golf cart tore up on Saturday.Missed being able to use it the last day, but all in all our visit was great!

A very disappointing stay due to the rental company, My Vacation Haven. This property is well stocked with comfortable furniture but that’s where the positive ends. The grill and golf cart were not as pictured. Grill was filthy on arrival and we had to burn off left over fat/grease for 45 mins before we were willing to cook food on it. The sticker for the golf cart gate into Grand Blvd does not work to let you back onto Sandestin property. We attempted to rectify this with MVH and SOA. The sticker on the cart was changed and we were told by a MVH employee that the windshield was recently changed on the cart for 1200 and the gate sticker was switched out. The new sticker never worked and I was told to just continue investigating the issue with SOA myself. I didn’t waste vacation time doing that. The living room TV was stuck on Fox News. When I called I was told there was a cable outage in the area. Customer service for MVH never called again to follow up on the issue. We found several days later that the cable receiver for the living room TV was stuck behind furniture. Imagine our surprise when we got home and were charged 65 for a new windshield wiper on the golf cart. It was never damaged and we left it as we found it. Sounds like MVH recouping 1200 lost prior to our visit. We will not rent a MVH property again. Twice I have rented from this company and both properties were for sale during that time. Both properties seemed forgotten due to being sold.

Check in process was streamlined and effective

Bungalos 2495 was clean, and the perfect size for our family of five and two small dogs. The golf cart was awesome - we drove it almost exclusively once we arrived. Neighborhood was quiet and cute. Overall, one of the best beach stays we have had!

It seemed to rain all week but we enjoyed the house we rented. We grilled out on the grill, we cooked in the kitchen. And all appliances worked properly. When the sun peeked out we ran to the beach but ended up spending a lot of time at the house. The house was very comfortable and a pleasant neighborhood to spend a Rainey week.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to say our entire family are MVH loyalists. We have always had great experiences with MVH multiple times a year. However, certain situations are beyond the rental company to immediately remedy. Here are the positives. Golf Cart is fantastic.The unit is very spacious, and stocked with everything you need. It does have extra toys, chairs, etc. Grill, stove, washing machine and dryer all work well much like other rentals. Wonderful to have your own parking spot for car and golf cart. The lights and dimmers were great. Tub, showers, sinks all work great and were clean. Our issues related to the overall comfort and cleanliness. The floors inside and out were beyond gross. The front porch had an odor, and hasn’t been washed in years. Inside was no better. I saw in an earlier review about carpets. The carpets have been replaced with tile, but you CAN NOT walk barefoot on the floors or your feet will turn black. We take our shoes off outside of residences, and we immediately had to slide on inside shoes. Our toddlers socks were filthy from wearing them inside. Secondly, we like cozy. Comfy beds, sofas, chairs etc. The beds weren’t comfortable. The bed in the master broke and fell apart in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. We had noticed it was a little shaky. It folded in on us in the middle where the box springs meet and sat down. I could tell someone had previously tried to patch it with screws. The slats were all brittle, and finally gave way. We propped it up with a paint can and plant stand for the rest of our stay and got through it. Lastly the chairs on the front porch, kitchen and living room are not made for normal human beings. I’m 6’2” and I could not find a comfortable spot anywhere.If you aren’t in the unit much or a big group needs room to spread out, I think this is a great fit. If you like to lounge and be cozy, I’m not certain this is for you. Definitely

The house was beautiful, great space for our family of 5. We loved having the golf cart to take to the beach, dinner and shopping. The community was beautiful and the Bungalows part of the neighborhood (where the house is) has its own pool within walking distance which was nice. Was also helpful to have access to beach umbrellas and chairs since that can get expensive if you pay for it at the beach. Overall we enjoyed the house and the owners were easy to work with!

The carpets were disgusting and need a deep clean. The outdoor grill, only half of the burners work so that needs replaced.

What we love the best is you can do a lot within the community without having to get in your vehicle. You have golf cart access to the beach, grocery shopping, retail shops and restaurants. Second time we have been to the Bungalos and will certainly not be the last.
