In the heart of PUGLIA, at the gates of SALENTO and the magical panorama of the VALLE d'ITRIA, in one of the most suggestive corners of the coastal stretch of the RIVIERA dei TRULLI, famous for the beauty of the beaches and the crystalline colors of the sea, the comfortable and equipped Holiday House ECO DEL MARE. Furnished with taste and care and independent of each other, SALTO NEL BLU (this announcement), BREZZA DI MARE (announcement n. 6890062) and ALBA CHIARA (announcement n. 6890056) are the apartments that compose it. Each apartment has free wi-fi connection. Ideal for those who want to spend a holiday all sea and sun and also suitable for families with children, the SALTO NEL BLU apartment (this announcement), large and exclusive, is located in a privileged position opposite and a few meters from the sea; its particular position and large windows allow you to live in symbiosis with the sea, overlooking the infinite as if by magic. It consists of two double bedrooms, a large living room-kitchen equipped with a double sofa bed (total sleeps 6 with the possibility of adding, without additional costs, a camping cot for children up to 4 years), bathroom with shower in crystal with shower panel for hydromassage and chromotherapy, very large covered veranda furnished with nice sofas, table with chairs for the dining area, deck chairs and sun loungers. The garden is large and well-kept. The particularity of this holiday home is the proximity to the sea (just 30 meters) and direct access, through the private garden, to the beautiful sandy beach of the CAPITOLO di MONOPOLI, known as the DUNA or Lido LOSCIALE. But the RIVIERA dei TRULLI also includes other beaches, such as the famous one of EGNAZIA, called CASE BIANCHE, which is only 2.5 km away, where you can bathe in history, diving into the transparent waters near the archaeological excavations and which boasts the FLAG BLU 2016 and 4 VELE di LEGAMBIENTE, up to the beaches of the State Natural Reserve of TORRE GUACETO, an important area of naturalistic interest where you can swim in the unspoiled nature of the large protected marine area also frequented by caretta caretta turtles.
The geographical position of the ECO DEL MARE is also strategic from a landscape-cultural point of view. In fact, it is only a few kilometers from: Monopoli (7 km) with its beautiful historic center where, between ancient buildings and narrow and suggestive streets, the Baroque Cathedral of Madonna della Madia stands majestically; Polignano a Mare (15 km), known for its high terraces overlooking the clear and crystalline waters; the neighboring Savelletri (4 Km.), a hamlet of Fasano, very popular with tourists and vacationers, famous for its impressive golf course; the Archaeological Park of the ancient Messapian and then Roman city of Egnathia (2.5 Km.) with its famous Acquapark Egnazia, the largest in all of Southern Italy; Fasano (9 Km.) Known for the ZOO Safari but also for the Olive Oil Museum; Castellana Grotte (22 Km.) For its fascinating underground karst caves of speleological and tourist interest; Ostuni (35 Km.), Called the White City and the Itria Valley, also known as Valle dei Trulli, consisting of a set of hills belonging to the southern Murgia that extends between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, included in the municipalities of Locorotondo (20 Km.), known for its DOC wine, inserted, together with Cisternino (27 Km.), in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy; Alberobello (25 Km.), UNESCO heritage, famous all over the world for its suggestive and splendid Trulli; Ceglie Messapica (44 Km.) Which boasts the recognition of city of art and land of gastronomy and Martina Franca (26 Km.) Known for its Baroque architecture and the music festival of the Itria Valley. But Puglia, elected the most beautiful region in the world by National Geographic, is a land where it is possible to live a unique experience not only for its sea, its villages, its rural and modern reality, its castles and cathedrals , but above all for its authenticity and its food and wine. These places, in fact, are full of characteristic places along the alleys of the historical centers where it is possible to taste typical Apulian dishes; but also simply getting lost in the streets of the nearby hills, among the contortions of the centuries-old olive trees and the majestic fortified farms, you can discover several farmhouses where you can make real food and wine tours. The apartment has Free Wi-Fi.

We loved the house on the border of the Mediterranean sea. The hospitality, help, information and especially the warmth of our dear host Luciana were great. Felt like family! The attention in the decoration of the rooms is very tasty. Sea themes & colours everywhere. There is so much interesting culture to visit in the surroundings. Strongly recommended.

We absolutely loved this wonderful place set right on a beautiful beach with restaurants placed along the beach and close to the lovely village of Savelletri for supplies, coffee and some great reataurants. Not touristy at all. Luciana was a fantastic host and gave us some great tips on the area. Always wonderful dealing with her. Also close for day trips to Monopoli. Polignano a Mare, Alberobello and others. We even did. Day trip to Matera which was really worthwhile. All in all we wish we come come back regularly, but it’s a long way from Australia.

We were lucky enough to stay here over May half term with our two boys (4 and 7). The apartment is comfortable and has everything that you require. The beach is at the end of the garden and the sand and water is perfect. Luciana and her family are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. I hope we get to go back again.

The photographs really do not do this place justice. The apartment is beautiful; spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped. The towels and bedding are lovely as is the simple, elegant decor. Waking up each morning to sound of the sea is a delight in itself. The privilege of walking through the private gate, onto the beach is a real treat. The beach was very busy when we were here, so it felt luxurious to be able to wander onto the beach for a swim and then return to the apartment's private gardens to relax in the sun. Luciana is everything you could wish for in a hostess. Her warmth matched the Puglese sunshine. It felt reassuring to have her close by armed with local information, but she never intruded in any way. We will definitely return to Luciana's beautiful home. Thank you for having us :)

A really good, clean, simple apartment with a large, established garden and a gate onto a gently sloping sandy beach at the end of it. The sea was warm and incredibly clear. The beach slopes gently into the sea and there is a large shallow area ideal for children. There are a few beach bars and restaurants a few minutes walk along the beach. Good location for visiting places like Ostuna, Monopoli etc and close to amazing countryside with gnarly old olive trees etc and plenty of really good places to eat a few minutes drive away. Luciana is a wonderful host and could not have been nicer.

We can only agree with all of the positive comments from the other contributors. We had a great time. The property is all that it appears in the photos. Its rare to find such a property that is so exquisitely decorated and yet easy to keep. Added to that was the warmth of our hosts. Luciana is a star. She was always available and made us feel like we were her first guests with her recommendations and time. Our two young kids are still asking when they will see her young son again. They had a memorable time. The beach and the veranda were a big hit with us. The section of beach on to which the property fronts was the best in the whole stretch. It was so safe and shallow for the kids. The water was so clean and warm too for the time of year. Its a great base to discover the area. The old part of Monopoli was the highlight while nearby Sallevetri has some nice restaurants too. We will return that's for sure.

A fantastic location right on the beach in an area well used by locals to enjoy crystal blue waters of the Adriatic. Nearby towns offer some great places to eat, from sophisticated seafood to classic Italian gelato. Should you fancy a change, a quick drive can take you to historically interesting places such as Alberobello, Grotte di Castellana and Ostuni. The property is smartly designed; both homely and appealing at the same time. As a family with 2 small children, the secure garden was perfect for lizard hunting and general mucking about. All of the above is made even better by our attentive hosts, who recommended where the best pizzas were, found us some amazing local produce to enjoy, and were amazingly friendly and helpful. In addition, with two delightful kids of their own, our two had immediate partners in mischief!
