YOUR JEKYLL ISLAND VACATION HOME
Sundowner is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Jekyll Island rental home on the marsh side of the island. With vaulted ceilings, bold color, and a view of the Sydney Lanier Bridge from your front firepit, this home is anything but ordinary. Two full living rooms (one with a full-sized pool table), a wall of glass sliders, and wide-open sightlines make it perfect for groups who want space to spread out without splitting up. You're close to everything—but far enoughto get away with anything.

Looking for something to do your first afternoon Book a spot on Jekyll Island Dolphin Tours, recently named TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best for boat tours in the U.S. Bring a cooler and whatever you’d like to sip on. Dolphins are basically guaranteed—but even if they bail, you’ll still have fun and a view to remember.

SLEEP IN ON JEKYLL ISLAND
• Sleeps 8 comfortably across 4 bedrooms
• The Flower Room: King bed, smart TV, private en-suite with walk-in shower
• Golden Room: Queen bed with attached bath and sunny style
• Orange Room: Queen bed, patio access, and playful color-blocked corners
• Blue Room: Twin beds, coastal art, and bright natural light
• Every bedroom has closet space, blackout shades, and plenty of personality
• There's mischief in this home. It works great for groups, couples, and is family-friendly—if your family’s anything like ours

JEKYLL ISLAND OUTDOOR LIVING
• Great Dunes Golf Course 1.6 Miles away, 5 minute drive
• Firepit seating under live oaks, with a marsh view and the bridge in the distance
• Front and back patios with sun and shade options
• Palms, pines, and privacy in every direction
• Private driveway with room for 5 cars
• Located on quiet Riverview Drive

Get out and eat out. Start with Zachary’s Riverhouse, just a 7-minute drive away and make sure to sit outside. Order wild Georgia shrimp while the sun sets over the marina. For something a little louder, head to The Wharf for a low country boil with live music right on the water. Or slow things down with brunch at The Grand Dining Room inside the Jekyll Island Club, just 2.2 miles away. Built in the 1880s as a private resort for the Rockefellers, Morgans, and Vanderbilts, it now serves white-tableclothed, elegantly indulgent fare with flair—prepared for those with taste, but priced for those with sense. Worth every cent.

If you're up for a little adventure, grab a cruiser from Beachside Bike Rentals and explore the island’s 25+ miles of trails. Driftwood Beach is a 5-minute drive and feels like stepping into a black-and-white photograph. Horton Pond, just six minutes away, is your best shot at spotting an alligator. The bird sanctuary hidden inside the Jekyll Island Campground is only four minutes away and always full of life. Just go in. You’re allowed. Trust me. And if you like your detours weird and wonderful, make time for the Jekyll Island Amphitheater Ruins. They are 1.6 miles from the house and completely overgrown, graffitied, and haunting in the best way.

GOLF ON JEKYLL ISLAND
Planning a golf trip Sundowner works particularly well for foursomes and small golf groups. Jekyll Island Golf Club and the newly restored Great Dunes Golf Course are about 1.6 miles away, a 5-minute drive.

Originally designed by Walter Travis in 1928 and reopened after an extensive restoration, Great Dunes combines Atlantic Ocean views, coastal dunes, maritime forest, and classic Golden Age architecture in a way that’s difficult to find on a public course today.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautifully decorated home. We have stayed there for a month two years in a row. The kitchen is well stocked. The sunset views are spectacular! It's nice to have a fire pit to enjoy. We appreciate that the owners choose to share this property. Our only issue was either the cleaning company was not good, or someone had been in the house after cleaning and prior to our arrival - there was coffee in the pot, crumbs and stains on the counters, the kitchen sink was a mess and the floors needed cleaning. We contacted the management company the next morning and they offered to send someone over to clean but we had gone ahead and cleaned the night before. It was a little worrisome that several windows were unlocked and one was open a bit.

While the stay was pleasant, this is a spacious beautiful home, we did get the impression that there might be a squatter in between reservations. Upon arrival it was noticed that while the house seemed clean one of the beds had been slept in and there was coffee left in the pot. One of the door was left unlocked and a window was found slightly open. We informed the host after check out and no apologies or discount were offered which is disappointing since this is such an expensive rental. For over 2000 for 2 nights I would expect someone would check the rental the day guests are arriving.

We always enjoy our time on the island. The home was great; very comfortable. We already recommended to a friend that has booked for February and March.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The power had just been turned on the night before we arrived. The house smelled musty, the toaster didn't work, the yard was a mess we couldn't enjoy sunsets for the ds bris on chairs and fire pit. I feal the property was not ready for guests at that time and we should have been rescheduled.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at this home. It had everything we needed and plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and close to everything. We enjoyed the doors that opened up in the evening as we watched the sunset. The property agency was helpful during Hurricane Milton. The house is about a mile walk to the Horton House historic site and another mile from Driftwood Beach. There are paths right out the front door to enjoy the views even more. We definitely will be back.
