We (my wife and I) were a bit apprehensive about staying here when he found out that owner is also on the property. That was quickly put to rest when we met Laurie and her dog Lucy.Laurie showed us around the property making sure that we knew where everything in the immediate area was located (food store/restaurants etc). After that, we only saw her when we crossed paths going in and out on excursions. The property has everything that you could ask for. It is well appointed and convenient to downtown Jackson which is only 10 minutes away. The first night that we were there, we went to a local pub named the Bird! Since it was just down the road. They have good food.We spent the week using Laurie’s house as home base as we visited both the Teton mountains and Yellowstone national parks. If you want to see everything the area has to offer, or if you just want to hang out in the quiet of the countryside this is where you want to stay. It’s not perfect, during rush hour you can hear the noise from traffic, but that is minor. And lastly…the dog Lucy made my stay…she would look for us when we left, and greet us when we returned. I actually looked forward to seeing her each day.I highly recommend this location if you are visiting Jackson WY. Thanks Laurie for letting us use your house!Joe

Excellent place plenty of room, close to town. Laurie and Steve are really nice and helpful. We will definitely go back. Only downside is it is close to the road.

We liked the unit inside and the owner was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the owner had major construction going on all around the home (tree removals, concrete walls, digging, etc) which created living and parking problems for us from large machinery, noise, and dirt. The view from the back was great! However, there were tractors, trailers and dump trucks there the entire month. This created parking issues and our car was very dirty all the time. Windows had to be closed when the machinery was operating to limit the dirt from entering the house. This is likely a temporary issue, but it made our stay uncomfortable. The owner gave us a $500 rebate for the inconvenience. If we had known there was a going to be a large construction project going on, we would not have booked the unit. The unit is also adjacent to the highway with accompanying road noise.

We absolutely loved our month stay! The location is perfect, has amazing views off the back of the house, and Laurie is an extremely accommodative host, helping us plan multiple hikes/day trips. The house is very clean and had everything & more that we needed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Laurie was a wonderful host with fantastic suggestions about the area! We enjoyed her property with its incredible views of the meadow and mountains in the background.
