Stayed Nov 5, 2025Great location. The check in was perfect and great communication with host. The water was well and not well maintained. The showers heads were full of rust and I had to clean it off, only to find that there must not have been enough salt in the tank because it was extremely drying to your skin and it smelled. Very disappointing. If the water issue is resolved I’d give this place a 5. The coffee pot water reservoir was brown and that’s probably due to the water. We didn’t use it. We purchased bottled water to drink and to rinse our mouth with it. My previous home had well water and was never gross like this. Always drinkable.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024We had a great stay at the Ivy Cottage. Grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle, and two pre-teen boys spent a week prior to the boys starting school. The house had plenty of room and everything we needed was available.

Stayed Jun 24, 2024Phoebe was a wonderful host. Communicated promptly. The layout of the house was exactly what we expected. 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 baths, plenty of room for 3 couples and 2 small children. The house was extremely clean, especially the bathrooms, bedrooms, and Kitchen. We fixed breakfast and lunch every day at the house and dinner 3 of 5 nights. We had a fire in the firepit every night as it was cooler than normal June week in Holland. We brought our own Firewood, but we were also able to find a private residence nearby selling firewood at a reasonable price. We walked to the Beach ... only 2 blocks ... but there was parking at Riley Beach if you would prefer to drive. There were also bikes available in the garage, but we didn't have a chance to use them. The downtown area was a 10-minute drive, which we went to multiple times.
