Island View - Beautiful Cottage on Lake Michigan

Wonderful views of the islands. Excellent beach. Close to town and attractions yet secluded. Great house layout with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of deer to enjoy on walks (keep your dog on a leash!). Lighted freighters passing in the night is a bonus with an evening wine on the deck, beach or at the fire-pit. The cleanliness and quality of everything in the home made it pleasantly comfortable.

This was a piece of heaven. The location. The property. Glen Arbor and the surrounding area are beautiful. The profile promised a lot and it over delivered. The leasing company and co-hosts were professional, friendly and responsive. Could not score it higher if I tried.

It was a beautiful home and location on Lake MI and close to Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Fantastic kitchen, living areas and bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay!

We had an absolutely fantastic week at this property—everything exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped with high-end finishes and thoughtful touches throughout. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and at home.The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and every room offered something special—from the cozy living spaces to the spa-like bathrooms. We especially appreciated the peaceful setting and how quiet and private the property felt, while still being just minutes from local attractions and restaurants.The host was also responsive and gracious, providing all the details we needed for a seamless check-in and stay. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, and this one ranks at the very top. Highly recommend—would return in a heartbeat!

Great place with an incredible view!

We had a wonderful trip to Glen Arbor and the Island View house. Our kids loved the play room and the bunk beds. Everything easy access and well appointed. Owners were very helpful/responsive. The beach and the water were perfect, and the fire pit was fun for s’mores. We went into town, jogged up to the sleeping Bear dunes and rode bikes on the well manicured trails. Hope to return again soon!

The warmth, layout and location are fantastic. We loved our time at this home and our time in Glen Arbor. It was perfect for our family of 6. It was incredibly clean, everything worked, and the management company was extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent a week at Island View on Sleeping Bear Bay in Glen Arbor. It is a fabulous rental, with a cook’s delight kitchen. The views are spectacular and the sunsets cannot be beat. I cannot say enough good things about this rental.

The attention to details in this home were exceptional, and the location on the bay was delightful. Kitchen very accommodating for cooking, we enjoyed outdoor fires at the comfortable fire pit multiple nights (and watched the sunset!), and hosts were responsive and helpful. Excellent rental.

The Island View House in Glen Arbor was a dream to stay at. Absolutely beautiful home situated on Lake Michigan. Left Coast Vacation Rentals was very responsive and I would definitely stay with them again.
