Inland Waterways Retreat! On Cheboygan River, inside Strawberry Island Canal!

Beautiful property and area. Great for people who love to be on the water.

Very cozy and clean. We stayed in the winter, so we couldn't utilize the river. The outdoor hot tub was amazing. We watched swans and ducks on the property. It was a very peaceful place to unwind. Melissa was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

The house was very well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We brought our boat and went all the way to Burt Lake to Bois Blanc and Mackinaw Islands (different days) The location was peaceful, beautiful easy to navigate and the hot tub was a perfect way to end (or start) a cool fall day. Within driving distance to so many great areas as well. The hosts were fantastic! We would certainly stay here again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Our hosts made sure we had an open line of communication in case we needed anything, but everything there was as advertised and we had not one issue. The house was clean and welcoming, the view was amazing, the hot tub was clean and easy to use, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

The home was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was very well equiped with just about anything you would need to prepare a meal. The living room furniture was very comfortable for watching a movie after a day of sight seeing or outdoor activities. Complimentary popcorn was a nice touch! Only wish we had more time to use the kayaks and hot tub.

Was a nice and clean place. Loved the location as it was nice and quite and very relaxing! Definitely will be back again as we all enjoyed it very much! Communication with the host was great, she responded very quickly with any question we had.

Great stay! Quiet, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. Loved the location—super close to a great trail and an easy day trip to Petoskey and Mackinac Island while we were there.

The home was absolutely perfect! We all felt so welcomed. The location was ideal, nice dock as we brought a boat, an added bonus that the location was close to a launch. The hot tub was nice after a cooler day on the water. The home was stocked with all the little things which was appreciated.

House was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed the yard, firepit and view of the river. Would stay again.

We enjoyed a late May/early June stay. House was great, amenities were accurate. We took advantage of the two kayaks as well as our own paddle boards on the river. The house has waterfront in front of the Strawberry Island, which was perfect for a short circle paddle. The main river does not have a strong current so it’s easy to go up/down the river to explore and even get to Mullet lake. We spotted large fish, turtles, frogs etc along the river. The house also has a large dock that could accommodate your own boat. The river bottom wasn’t very deep, maybe a few feet off the dock but the bottom was a bit mucky but still swimmable. Just really cold still at that time of year. House was stocked with coffee, which was nice, and pretty much most of what you’d need to cook. I’d recommend brings few of your own containers for leftover. The place accommodated 6 verify comfortably. Hot tub was great, extra towels were provided and laundry on site was a big plus. The only thing to be aware is the master bathroom doesnt have a door, which isn’t a huge deal but it kind of made it so out of the 6 of us only the 2 staying in the MBR used it, leaving 4 to share the other bath.Overall this one is still a winner.

What a great place to stay you’re right in the middle of mullet Lake Lake Huron, and a beautiful river. The house was immaculate. Well stocked everything you could ask for.

Great location, very clean, the grandkids and us had a terrific stay. The kids fished and swam from the dock, we all enjoyed the hot tub. Appliances and furniture in great shape, excellent location on the edge of town, and close to many attractions. Host is an extremely good communicator, would stay again without hesitation

There are 6 adults (all 60 yes old) in our party. This year we didn't have the rec boat, just the fishing boat. Theh had a new dock. The location is perfect, a small canal just off the Cheboygan River. Close to Mullet Lake and Lake Huron. Everything is clean and we didn't want for anything! Very comfortable inside and a lovely deck available for outside. Cant go wrong! The hosts are great!
