Stayed Dec 23, 2025We stayed at this beautiful Indianapolis home from 12/23–12/26 for a Christmas family gathering, and it was perfect for our group of six adults traveling with dogs. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very quiet—solidly built—so you don’t hear people moving between floors like in many newer homes. The living room has a large sectional and TV that made a great gathering space. The layout worked well with three full bathrooms, a first-floor twin bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower and laundry, and multiple upstairs bedrooms including a king with en-suite bath, two queens, and an additional twin in the converted attic bonus space with a second sectional couch and TV.The large fenced backyard was a huge plus for traveling with dogs or kids. There is a deck, fire pit small basketball court. The home was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The only minor note is that the king bed in the upstairs primary bedroom is quite high and may not be ideal for guests with mobility concerns. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home.

Stayed Oct 28, 2025House was great and fitting for our group. The host reached out before our stay with contact and number in case our stay was not perfect, but it was perfect!! We had everything we needed and it was clean. I would highly recommend.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025On the positive side, the host and property manager were very responsive and accommodating to my questions and requests. The property also had ample space for our needs. The location is also excellent for those needing access to downtown, Broad Ripple, Butler U and other neighborhoods within the city. However, before booking this location, be aware this is an older house, and the neighborhood is located in an urban area. I don't think the posted pictures accurately depict these attributes. On the negative side, the house smells and not in a good way...like mold? We bought spray and candles to try and reduce the smell, but those efforts were mildly effective, at best. In addition, the beautiful hardwood floors throughout could use a thorough cleaning. Our socks and/or feet were filthy within an hour of being there. I love older homes as a general rule. In fact, our primary home is approaching its 100-year birthday so I can appreciate the amount of time, effort and expense it takes to renovate/remodel an old house. I believe this property needs additional TLC before it should receive 4 or more stars from VRBO.

Stayed Aug 18, 2024The house is nice, although it has old bones (squeaky wooden floors, old baseboards, narrow stairs, central AC is not even throughout). Bedroom 1 (twin bed) was on the main floor. Bedroom 2 (twin bed) is in the attic. Beds were comfortable. Nice TVs. Very short drive to children's museum. Lots of towels. Has popcorn maker, which was fun.

Stayed Jul 9, 2024We arrived very late on Tuesday night. We had no issues locating the home or finding parking on the street. We were in town for a baseball tournament. We checked out Thursday morning so it was a quick stay! Home is beautiful and was perfect for our needs! Very cozy with plenty of room!
