Stayed Jul 13, 2024We were three families that stayed in this house for a week. The main part of the house (upstairs) is fantastic. The open plan was great, the large deck has amazing views over the marsh, and the beds were comfortable. As others have written, the temperature control downstairs is not great. When it is comfortable upstairs it is freezing downstairs, and if you open the doors to let in some warmer air the floors become slippery with condensation. It would be a perfect house if not for that issue. Otherwise, I highly recommend the house.

Stayed Aug 15, 2020We had a great two week vacation with our family of four at this home on the edge of the Fox Island Marsh and Pilgrim Springs Conservation Area, not far from Indian Neck Beach. The house is modern and spacious for a family, and the views from the back deck are outstanding. Highly recommended!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is great, open kitchen area with views onto the marsh. Don’t be fooled by the outside of the house, inside there’s tons of room. Simply decorated with no clutter! Huge upper deck with comfortable furniture. Only drawback was a broken umbrella so no place to escape the heat. Wish the realtor had responded with a new one like they promised. Location on Indian Neck is great, a quick drive to the beach. Easy access to bike trail.

Stayed Jul 11, 2020We enjoyed a wonderful week in this newly renovated, beautifully designed contemporary home looking out over the marsh. The open living plan made it a pleasure to cook, work, spend time as a family looking out over the peaceful marsh. The property was very quiet, and the downstairs space made it possible for us to work or watch movies, do yoga, etc., in a separate space. The location is excellent, a short walk/bike ride from peaceful bay beaches, a bike ride or short drive to town, easy access to gorgeous National Seashore beaches. The house is well-provisioned with everything one might need in terms of kitchenware, etc., which is not always the case. The owners have done an excellent job thinking about what one might need, with lovely design touches, even beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Loved the fabulous outdoor shower! My only negatives are for one, the rental agent, Kinlin Grover, who was absolutely unreachable via phone or email. This is not the fault of the owners, but it is unacceptable nevertheless. It worked out as we had no issues, but if we had, good luck. Also, while the house has A/C, there's only one zone, so the downstairs was too cold. Also, when we turned off the A/C (we didn't need it and loved having the windows open with the lovely sea breezes), the condensation caused the downstairs floors to be covered in a sheet of water. We spent a long time wiping it all up, and then it was fine, but we didn't dare put on the A/C. Not sure how this might be remedied. Overall we loved our week here, and would very much consider returning next year.

Stayed Jun 13, 2020The house is recently renovated (or built), nicely decorated and just enough modern for the Cape. Furniture is new and the kitchen is equipped to the smallest details - you will appreciate it if you’re planning to cook! The marsh behind the house is beautiful and very peaceful; the large deck is nicely furnished and neighbors are sufficiently far away for privacy. The house is conveniently located about half-mile off Route 6. The only thing that’s a bit bothersome is the drastic temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs and the inability to adjust the temperature but overall this house is highly recommended - we would go back anytime.
