Our 2nd trip was incredible. Visited so many amazing spots and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on the lake. Missed the fish but it was fall and they were deep and not biting near the surface. Great food, fun and relaxation. This place has it all!! See you in the fall. Lloyd and family
This was one of the houses we rented for family for my wedding weekend! The deck has a stunning view, the couch is the most comfortable couch you will ever sit on….the kitchen is brand new and the large table is awesome to sit around
Beautiful location, lots of outdoor space and close to private boat launch
It was a fabulous little getaway. We have fun on the water with paddleboards, kayaking, and swimming in a beautiful setting. The house's location is perfect and well-equipped for our stay.
House is right on Lake Sutherland with amazing views. Everything you need is right there in the house. We were able to cook meals, bbq and there were kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe for use. It was a great home base for exploring Lake Crescent.
We had a wonderful stay at the lake property. However it is taking 2 weeks to get our refund back. Moreover, we were asked to either put down more for a deposit or buy a supplemental insurance policy (which we did). Called VRBO to inquire and they state it is their policy that they can take up to 40 business days to refund a deposit.
Fine, but the toaster oven is apparently kaput . . . We tried to use it but it started to smoke so we just stopped it and then unplugged it.
We had an amazing and relaxing time at the lake house. The hime had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The view of the lake and mountains was breathtaking especially at sun set. The water was clear and cool but not cold. We grilled out and played on the lake. The paddle boards and kayaks were good fun for my brother and me. Everyone else enjoyed hanging out on the deck laughing at us trying to get up on the paddle boards as this was our first time trying. The house is a but touched away and felt very provate and peaceful. We all agreed we would love to come back and stay longer.
This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular. I did not want to leave.
It's a great location, with wide waterfront access to the lake. Overall, it's clean and reasonably tidy. And, it's in the last stage of it's life. The deck and docks feel borderline unsafe to walk on from settling and weathering. The double-wide itself is clean and reasonably comfortable, but it's tired. The shower in the master bathroom leaked the whole time we were there. The recently laid carpet and vinyl flooring are of moderate quality. You can feel the carpet staples when walking barefoot and the vinyl flooring would buckles from expansion when it got warm. If we didn't pay a premium for the property ($750 a night after fees), I'd be okay with it. But, I've stayed at much nicer VRBOs with waterfront access for less and would recommend looking around before you agree to such a hefty price for a worn-out double-wide.
We had a great time in the lake and exploring the Olympics
Plenty to do on the lake, but lots of time and a peaceful place to just relax. Easy to make meals for 10.
The view and water toys were fantastic. Exactly what we were looking for. That being said, the house could use some updating. Our feet found carpet staples on multiple occasions and we found the beds/pillows to be too soft. If you are looking for a great deck to spend your days at, while having all the lake toys you could think of, this is a great place for you.
We had the most wonderful stay. The views are breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake. Would stay here again!
Beds were comfortable and linens were new and clean. Some nice updates have been done that are not updated on the VRBO site - new kitchen counters and kitchen appliances and cupboards are painted light blue. I am hoping bathrooms are next on the update list. The showers have new shower heads, but the showers themselves are circa 1970 and the master shower is the smallest shower I have ever used. Carpet in the cabin is in great condition but likely not installed by professionals and needs to be tacked down in several places. There is minimal furniture - no side tables in living room (drinks can't be set on the floor because carpet is pretty plush). There was one small round table in the corner that we moved over and used as a coffee table. The master has no dressers. With only a few cubbies in the closet, we had piles of our clothes on the floor so we were not having the live out of our suitcase. The washer/dryer are also new - and huge! After staying here we spend three nights on Lake Quinault and we were missing the space of this cabin. Plenty of room in the kitchen, dining room, master. etc. The deck is giant and having paddle boards was such a bonus. This is a very small lake - so beautiful in the morning! Great for younger kids wanting to explore with lake toys like paddle boards and paddle boats, but really no place to canoe. The pictures do not show this, but neighbors are very close. One side is obscured by the boathouse and bushes but the other is almost deck to deck with this cabin and then the cabin after that as well. Five days before we left I sent a message to the owners letting them know what we were planning to do during our stay and asked for advice on which part of Crescent Lake they suggested we park, etc. and they never got back to us. This is a great cabin for families with kids. It's spacious, clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, and on a lovely and manageable lake, not a far drive into Port Angeles for groceries or a meal out, and very close to Lake Crescent.
We loved this property so much we didn't want to leave! The house and location are perfect and even better than the photos. Our stay here was my family's favorite stay out of all our lodgings during our 2 week roadtrip.
We had the best time at this home - the views were beautiful and the house was large and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. We loved it and will be back!
