Beautiful lake views. And comfortable furnishings. The process through Vrbo was very easy to navigate. I would stay at this property again.
Sorry for the late review. We had a great time staying here! The house is lovely and in a very nice area. It’s very quiet, yet close to everything. The lake is beautiful and the sunsets are gorgeous. There is a sweet family of ducks that we enjoyed watching every day on the water. The firepit was a nice bonus!
Fantastic location, beautiful home and spectacular views!
A great grandma and her four daughters spent a long weekend here for her 92nd birthday - it was the perfect location and the home was totally handicap accessible for her (on the ground floor) - the second floor is a little awkward in that there is no shower upstairs and the one sink is in the one bedroom upstairs - not in the 'tiny' toilet closet Otherwise - everything else was amazing!
I love this location and the ability to walk to all that Fish Creek has to offer, while also being directly on the water. Good space for our group to stay. We enjoy going to Door County and will be staying here again! FYI that the room with the two beds is the only one with an attached bathroom. That wasn’t super clear to me from the listing so adding here in case it helps others.
Overall, this was a wonderful property. The house was big enough for 11 adults, it sits right on the water and the location in the center of Fish Creek was awesome. Our only complaints would be that the check out policy of having all the towels washed and dried (last load in the dryer on check-out) AND having all dishes washed and put away by 10am was difficult. Morning dishes had to be washed by hand because the dishwasher took 2 hours, yet all towels had to be washed and dried as well. A noon departure time would have made it more manageable.
Perfect view of the water and sunsets. Able to walk anywhere in Fish Creek
We loved the Fish Creek Beach House. It is very comfortable and it’s in a great location in Fish Creek. The best thing is that our dogs could stay with us. We are already talking about the next trip.
My husband and I treated our moms to a week in Fish Creek to celebrate Mother's Day and make-up for lost time during the pandemic. We brought along our 18-month old daughter for special time with the Grandmas. The Fish Creek beach house location was perfect - we could all walk to town for shops/restaurants but we also felt like we had privacy because you can't really see any of your neighbors and the house is set back away from the street. You can't beat the beautiful bay views -- the sunsets are stunning and it's so serene. The house is well appointed and had plenty of room for our group to sleep comfortably in their own rooms. My only suggestion for the owner is to make updates to the bathrooms. Everything else about the house is high-end and luxurious, but the shower stall and the shower/tub combo definitely are not on par with the rest of the house. They're old/outdated and small and even with attention to care from the cleaning staff, they just look dingy and forgotten. Note to families traveling with kids -- all the bedrooms have miniblinds but they let in a lot of light. If your kids sleep best in total darkness, buy some travel blackout curtains from Amazon. We brought a set along and it helped tremendously.
Great location, right on the lake. Comfortable, quiet, and clean home. Lots of room for a family.
