Stayed Apr 2, 2022We stayed here in April 2022 - our first visit to France for three years due to the pandemic, and our first visit to Cancale. We very much enjoyed our trip. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We were a party of 8 adults and the facilities were fine for our purposes but bathrooms etc might have come under strain if all the bedrooms were fully occupied. For clarity's sake, there are three bedrooms on the first floor - two doubles and a small room with two single bunk beds. On the second floor there is a small double (access from one side of bed only) and a dormitory sleeping up to six in bunk beds and two pull-out futons. There is a bath or shower room on each of the first and second floors and three separate WCs, one on each floor. Due to the weather we didn't spend much time outdoors but there are plenty of garden chairs, with decking at the front of the house and artificial grass at the rear. The washing machine is in an outhouse at the rear. There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway but this means the gates have to remain open. There is a Carrefour City a short walk away, a large Super U a 5 min drive away and an Intermarche about 10 mins drive. The seafront is an easy walk from the house with plenty of restaurants, bars and creperies. The only negative we would mention was the issue we had on arrival not being able to contact Laurence on the mobile phone number provided in order to get the code for the keysafe to get access. As this was the only means of contact we had it was a little worrying and we were stuck outside at the end of a long journey for about an hour until we finally made contact. It would have been preferable if the code could have been sent to us in advance so that we had it when we arrived. Apart from that we can fully recommend the Four Seasons. It's a good base for visiting St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan etc. We look forward to a return visit. Thanks too to Laurence for arranging for the clients who followed us to post back some keys that we had left behind - this was much appreciated.

Stayed Jul 13, 2019Central to many popular sites, walking distance to town, shopping, bars and restaurants. The home is spacious as we had 10 in our group. Great place to stay.
