Gaze upon sweeping views of the mountains and valley from this incredible log cabin (yes, it's made in the Lincoln log style!). The views from the enormous 30-foot windows in the living room provide views of Brasstown Bald mountain and three different states. Multiple decks, including one with an outdoor living room, provide space for everyone to relax and be together. The private gas grill is sure to provide fun and delicious entrees cooked outside. Indoors, central air conditioning will help keep everyone comfortable during your entire stay. The home's movie theater is well equipped for movie marathons. Just remember to make up some snacks inside the fully equipped kitchen that includes a wet bar, granite countertops, and a kitchen table that was used in two scenes of the movie “Insurgent.” The entire home is full of treasures like this, including a reclaimed Georgia gold mining cart in the living room, mounted on railroad tracks from Charlotte and set on Georgia barn beams. The wooden eagle in the same room is from Mexico, while the antique canoe and other taxidermy were from sources throughout the Southeast. Can you find the cutout of the Duke He's hanging out near a prime work station within the home, suitable for remote work or schooling. Two wood burning fireplaces and two gas fireplaces add a warm atmosphere, and the firepit is lit with logs from the original construction of the home. Take some time to enjoy the fresh air inside the private hot tub. There's room for everyone at this luxurious home.

Our weekend stay was wonderful. The detail in the architecture and decorating is exceptional. The house is well stocked with everything you need from cooking to towels. There are good instructions on how to use everything. Our only confusion was the coffee pot but after quick internet search we figured it out! (By the way there is a Keurig and a coffee pot.) The drive up is easy. I was worried about hairpin turns and a lot of gravel but the drive was straight and paved for the most part. One confusion, we used Apple Maps and when it said we had arrived we didn’t know where to go. You actually fork right on Mull Valley Road which becomes a single lane and you drive a little bit more to the driveway which has a small sign on the right corner. The driveway is steep but even our Tesla got up it. Cars may bottom out a little bit if they are exceptionally low to the ground . Grocery store is about 10 minutes away and our drive to downtown Blue Ridge was about 20 minutes away which being from Atlanta is no big deal. Views were beautiful. We really didn’t want to leave. We came Friday through Sunday but since you can’t check in until four and you have to leave early Sunday, I would definitely recommend one extra day. We just didn’t feel like it was long enough! Such a wonderful weekend with our family!
My family and I loved staying here. The home itself was great and so were the views. I highly recommend.
Great views from most rooms of the home. Sunrise over the mountains is worth waking up for here. Plenty of space for groups to spread out and interesting things to see and do if the weather doesn't cooperate. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Looking forward to booking again.
We had a nice relaxing getaway at this beautiful cabin.
