Idlewood Cottage, 5BR Home Near Beaches, Year-Round Pool & Hot Tub

The owner had the house stocked with all kinds of items a family would need and want on a vacation. The best supplied homes we ever stayed at.

The house and location was perfect! It was by far the best VRBO we have stayed. The checkout instructions were very easy. Lori was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the hot tub at the pool was broken and the part was on back order. We would definitely stay here and again and recommend this home to friends and family.

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO in South Haven! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Communication with the owner was seamless—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure our stay went off without a hitch.We were in town for my daughter’s wedding at Black River Barn, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was just a short drive to the venue, which made our busy schedule so much easier to manage. The house was also just a couple of minutes from downtown South Haven, where we enjoyed some lovely walks, great restaurants, and charming shops.This home truly felt like a home away from home, and we’re so grateful for the experience during such a special time for our family. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Girls trip! Beaches and downtown minutes away. Beautiful home inside and out. Plenty of room for fives girls and all our stuff. The best stocked house I’ve ever stayed in. Lori was great to work with, gave us suggestions, and responded right away to any questions I had. I would stay here again.

I was so impressed when i walked in. It was beautiful! Extremely clean! The house had everything we needed and living room and bedroom space was perfect.

Lori has thought of absolutely everything, the house is absolutely gorgeous and it couldn't have been a better stay. My parents are tough to please, and were a bit apprehensive about staying in a VRBO however, they insisted that I review this listing and explain how amazing of an experience they had. My family had a wonderful stay at Idlewood. It was the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Hats off to their cleaning crew! Everything was as described and more. The kitchen had everything we needed including a full spice rack, olive oil, and balsamic. The host was amazing at helping me prepare for the trip. Property is in a nice, quiet neighborhood which also means more driving to places which we knew ahead of time based on the listing’s descriptions. (Without small kids you could walk to more stuff) We saw wild turkeys every morning! The outdoor area is very small but with all the outdoor offerings in South Haven we were ok with that. We loved the new pool - it’s so close to the house. Don’t plan on using the pool restrooms though because in the entire week we were there, there was no toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. But since you’re so close to the house it’s not a big deal. This is a great house if you’re looking for a nice, large family friendly rental! Kids of all ages will be happy and accommodated! This place was super cute and in a great area. It was very accommodating for our group. We appreciated how clean it was and the price of it was very reasonable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
