Stayed Jul 19, 2025We found the Bayside Barn to be a wonderful place to stay at BoothBay Harbor. It is very a convenient 5 minute walk to restaurants, shops, the Footbridge across the bay and entertainment. It is well appointed with everything we needed and we would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025We found the Bayside Barn to be a wonderful place to stay at Boothbay Harbor. It's location is perfect for walking to the downtown area for dining, shopping and entertainment. We would definitely stay there again. While the slanted ceilings were a bit challenging, we quickly got used to them. The Barn is well appointed for everything we need.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025The entire trip was overshadowed by the outrageous management fee charged by vrbo on top of Vacasa's fee...1000 between the 2 for a 1700 booking. The property itself and location were good and close to town, although there was no view of the harbor. The little house is clean and comfortable. The chairs out back are very nice for sitting during the day, but too many mosquitoes to sit out back in evening. It was quiet sitting out front using our camp chairs. Vacassa was quick to come out to fix an AC problem.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Cute refurbished barn. All the amenities you’d want. Also the privacy of a home vs. a resort Or hotel. Lovely amenities and exceptionally clean. Love this place!

Stayed Oct 18, 2024The cottage was clean and cute. The location was convenient to town but not special. Our only misgiving was difficulty with the entry codes and lock box although the support team remained dedicated to troubleshooting and we ultimately prevailed. I would recommend the property for a short stay by a small group.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024This converted horse barn is a charming, cozy place to stay that's close to places to eat, shopping, and the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor. It's was easy to get to, very clean, very comfortable, very quiet! We stayed for 3 nights and would certainly recommend this property for parties of 2, or a couple with 1 kiddo. We really enjoyed our stay and would rebook if in the area again.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024My mom and I stayed at the Barn for four night in August on a mother/daughter vacation. We loved the place!! It’s super cozy and felt like a real home. The location is great for walking into town. We stayed in one night and cooked local seafood on the grill and told stories over wine in the living room. Ceilings going up the stairs are a little low but once you figure it out, it’s easy to navigate, even for my 75 year old mom!
