Extraordinary home located in the heart of Louisville's most walkable neighborhood. Over 4000 square feet of freshly remodeled space with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 beautiful bathrooms. Large, remodeled, state of the art kitchen, 50" flat screen televisions in each bedroom with a 70" flat screen in the living room. Big dining room seats 10. Attached garage with additional off street parking accommodates up to 4 cars.
Great restaurants, coffee shop, pubs, antique shops, cool clothing shops and parks all within a short walk.
Floor Plan:
On the first floor there is an enclosed front porch, a large entry hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, half bath, laundry area, attached garage, parking pad and back porch. Patio area with propane grill and comfortable seating adjacent to rear porch.
On the second floor there are three large king bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is on the hall, the second is an ensuite bath in master bedroom. Additional twin daybed is tucked into the hall nook.
On the third floor is another full bath , a king bedroom and a twin bedroom (with 2 single beds).
Details:
Kitchen- fully equipped with place settings for 12. Quality pots, pans, knives and cook's tools. Quality glassware for 12 includes champagne flutes, red wine, white wine, ice tea and highball glasses. Range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave are all high quality stainless steel . Granite island provides additional work space and a place to hang out with the cook.
Locally roasted whole bean coffee, electric grinder and drip coffee maker provided.
Laundry: Home has washer, dryer, ironing board and Iron. Detergent and dryer sheets provided.
Parking: Attached garage with additional parking spaces on parking pad accommodates up to 4 cars.
Entertainment: Whole house high speed wifi. Smart TVs have standard apps preloaded. Spectrum app for cable television loaded on all televisions. For Netflix, Hulu, HBOgo, etc. just log into your account.
WE OFFER TWO CHECK IN OPTIONS:
1. Digital Self Check In-- Receive your digital door code by email the day before arrival. After letting yourself in the property, you must complete the Guest Arrival Form found on the coffee table. The form requires photo ID and credit card matching the booking name. Within one hour of arrival, you must transmit a digital image of the completed form to us either by text or email. Your information will be kept on file for the duration of your stay.
2. Assisted Check In: Available from 330pm to 830pm, we will meet you in person at the property to check you in and collect the Guest Arrival form along with photo ID and credit card information in person. No check in is permitted without valid credit card and photo ID.
FAQs:
1. At check in, photo ID and credit card matching the booking name are required. For digital self check in, these are submitted digitally by the guest after they let themselves into the townhouse. Information will be kept on file for the duration of your stay.
2. Why can't we have more than 12 guests total in the home for just a few hours
The Louisville STR ordinance caps the total legal occupancy of short term rentals based on the total number of bedrooms. Violation can result in the removal of our STR license.
3. Pets or additional guests added after booking may increase pricing. If you check the box "I am traveling with pets", 1 pet will be included with your booking and our pet fee of $95 for one pet will be in the "host fee". If you have a second or third pet, there is an additional $45 fee per pet. No more than 3 pets are permitted. Pets cannot be left unattended in the home unless crated.
5. Please inquire about stays more than one year in the future prior to booking. Instant Bookings made more than 365 days in advance may not be honored and the rate may be incorrect. Please note that our minimum nightly pricing for the Kentucky Derby weekend is $3795 per night with a 3 day minimum.
Cancellation Policies:
1. Cancel penalty free within 24 hours of booking if your arrival date is 14 days or more away.
2. Reservations cancelled more than 60 days in advance will receive a refund of 1/2 the our deposit payment .
3. Reservations cancelled less than 60 days in advance will not receive a refund of any part of the deposit payment.
4. No cancellation is permitted after final payment.
5. If travel to our area is restricted by governmental order, we will issue a 100% credit good for future travel at any of our homes within 18 months of original booking.

We brought a group of young adults to attend a conference in Downtown Louisville. This home provided a great place to relax and play games, make meals together, have great conversations about the conference and we all slept well. It was close to good restaurants and less than 10 minutes from the conference venue. We would book this home again.
Booked this house as it was central to various family and friends there in town. The house was in walking distance to shops and restaurants and the area was great for walking. It held our small family of 10 very well, and our younger girls enjoyed staying on their own floor (the 3rd) as it had all they needed for the week. The owner was wonderful to deal with and was prompt at answering messages and emails. She even set up a Christmas tree for us. We did run into one small issue, but the homeowner took care of it immediately and the problem was solved. I would definitely come back if we needed a space for all 10 of us again.
We rented this house so our family could attend my son’s graduation. It was just perfect! The home has been updated with new bathrooms and a kitchen. We had 7 adults in the house and there were ample supplies and facilities for all of us. The bathrooms were all immaculate and really nicely done. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The location is just off Baxter Ave on Broadway, centrally located, nothing is more than 15 minutes away. Deidre our host was perfect. Prompt instructions, it was very easy to check in and check out. There were chips and assorted snacks, coffee (loved the coffee grinder) and even extra refrigerators in the garage in case the group needed more room. I can’t say enough terrific things about the property or the host. This made our stay just perfect.
Our group on ten thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Louisville and surrounding distilleries. Staying at this wonderful home made it all possible. Everyone commented on how clean the home was in addition to feeling comfortable the entire week. Definitely recommend groups to consider this location.

My family of 10 stayed at this beautiful house for a week. The second floor was my parents in the master with the attached bath, my sister and brother in law in a king and their teenage daughters in the 3rd king size room. Their family had the second full bath on the second floor. My family was in the 3 rd floor. My husband and I in the king room and teenage boys in the room with 2 twins. We also had our our full bath on the third floor. The bedding, linens and towels were top notch and all beds were very comfortable. It was HOT during our stay but the AC in the house worked perfectly. Even the 3rd floor was nice and cool with wall AC units in each room. The house location was PERFECT. We felt super safe and were waking distance to a ton of places to eat/drink. There were tornado warnings the day we arrived and the home owners actually called my cell to put my mind at ease. We’re from Upstate NY and hade NEVER experienced a tornado warning. I highly recommend this property!!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. Very large home with lots and lots of room. Very well kept. Host was amazing. Would definitely recommend this property.

This house made our stay in Louisville perfect. Great bathrooms, big bedrooms, comfy beds and perfect social spaces. The hosts were lovely and there was nothing we could have asked for.
The house was perfect for our getaway!!! Great location!! We would definitely return! The house was big yet had a very cozy feel! It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The 5 Bathrooms are gorgeous and the 5 bedrooms very comfy!! Loved everything!!
We had 7 family/friends converge for a Bourbon Trail weekend. The house was beautiful and spacious with plenty of bathrooms, spread out on all three floors. When we were at the house we congregated out back in the smallish courtyard to either grill dinner, or enjoy a cocktail after our full day around The area. We spent one full day in Bardstown, about an hour away, and spent the other two days checking out the Derby Museum, a few local distilleries and a couple craft breweries. At night we hung around the large dining room table to play card games. The house had an enclosed front porch looking out on the neighborhood front street that my husband used every morning to catch up on work duties. We were able to walk a couple blocks down the street to pick up pizzas one night, and some of us walked while others drove to Hammerheads restaurant, a small local “dive” with great food and service, recommend by a nephew who frequented the place on a recent business trip. A few blocks further we spent another partial day eating and shopping around Logan Street Market, a local farmers market with local eats and drinks, including coffee bar, wine bar and local craft brewery. On either side of Logan Street were two other local breweries where we ate and played a board game before walking several blocks away to shop a huge antiques/vintage resale warehouse, the Fleur de Flea Vintage Market. Overall, the entire trip was awesome, but could only have been as fun as it was with the awesome comfortable house. Thank you Deirdre! You and your house were lovely! I hope we can return some time.
