We stayed the first weekend of October with some of our extended family. We had an awesome time and the weather was great. We had a lot of fun fishing off the dock(we caught some nice fish) and the grandchildren had a wonderful time playing at the beach area in and out of the water. The older kids really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. As for the house, the views from the back deck and the dock were both absolutely beautiful! Alos, we all slept very well with each couple having a king size bed and the kids had alot of fun sleeping in the bunk beds, so we were always well rested. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make all of our meals. The property owners are very generous with their toys, so there was always something to do in or out of the water. As for the host's, they are absolutely wonderful to communicate with. You can feel their kindness and willingness to make sure everything was to our liking and beyond our satisfaction. We are definitely going to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful views, amazing house, and perfect location on the lake. We could not have been happier with our stay here. All of the amenities were everything you can think of and more. The house was spotless, plenty of room for activities inside or out, and the kitchen was ready for any cooking occasion. Tim and Michelle were immediately accommodating and lovely to communicate with in a timely manner.

Overall, this is a beautiful home in a great location with a very nice sandy beach, unbelievably well-stocked kitchen, books, board games, beach toys, TVs, great game room and very nice bedrooms. Except for the waterlogged SUP boards, we had no issues with those items. Our discovery of mold or mildew in the air registers and mold/mildew in the bathrooms, plugged air filters and dirty rugs indicates that housekeeping is not up to the demands of summer rentals; these items should have been caught by housekeeping and communicated to the hosts for correction. We did notify these issues to the hosts and they immediately began steps to rectify them. Were it not for the mosquitos we encountered (no fault of theirs), the dirty rugs, and mold/mildew issues, your house would be 5 stars and justify the rental rate. Fortunately, the hosts are extremely concerned about renter satisfaction and are committed to establishing open communication to address any issues that arise.

The house was amazing. Indoor space was so nice. It made for a fun extended family karaoke night. So much is provided from spices, cooking and baking items, as well as paper products. Every drawer and cupboard labeled and plenty of EVERYTHING. We are truly dock dwellers and we finally found a dock that fit our needs perfectly. Plenty of sun, shade when needed, a mister for those super humid days as well as plenty of seating both sun and shade. Having the beach to be able to walk into the lake made it easy for the littles that visited along with their great pop-pop to access the water independently. All the water toys got some use with all sizes of life vests provided. The hosts are very quick and easy to communicate with. They made our stay a very special and memorable one. We enjoyed the bottle of wine and made use of the beach towel they left to welcome us. Seeing all the deer running around was a fun bonus!If you see it’s available, book it, unless it’s when we want it, lol. We can’t wait to return.

This home is clean, beautiful, and stocked with everything you need. It was quiet, peaceful relaxing and fun! Perfect place for our family to enjoy a week of making memories together. Tim and Michelle were great at communicating with us and made us feel very welcome to their home. Will definitely come back some day! We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, playing games, watching movies and enjoying family dinners together around the large dining room table. Evenings were spent around one of the three fire options watching the sunset.

This place was magical! It wasnt just a house; it felt like a home. The attention to detail was top notch The host was was not only kind but extremely accommodating. Even the neighbors were nice! Our kids had the time of their lives fishing and playing games. Our only regret is that we didnt stay longer. 10 out of 10!

I set out searching for a home with easy access to the water as I was bringing my parents who both have health issues. The hosts were beyond helpful ensuring we had everything we needed. The home and property were absolutely beautiful. I will forever be grateful for the memories made during our stay!

Awesome stay!! Such a beautiful home and wonderful hosts! Like many other reviewers have mentioned, this home has everything you could need. We absolutely loved the beach area, kayaks, paddle boards. I brought my own floats, paddles, etc and many other items that weren’t necessary at all, because they truly had everything! Tim and Michelle were very responsive hosts and were so kind with early and late check-in which was so appreciated with having three young grandchildren. Can’t wait for our next trip there! We have been taking our family vacation for 6 years at the beautiful OBX home. I can’t say enough. It is just a small piece of paradise. The house is perfect and offers everything you could want. The beach is a great place for the little ones to play and the adults to relax. Our grandkids enjoy fishing off the dock. Plenty of water toys to keep the entire family busy.
