Cabin was very spacious.Half the stairway going downstairs does not have hand rail. A real safety issue!

Wonderful place overall

Three generations had a wonderful time skiing and celebrating Christmas in the mountains. Spacious lodging and dining for the whole crew!

Property very nice. Very large house. The pool table needs replaced. We could not use it. The hot tub needs a good cleaning and a lot of chlorine. It was okay for the first two days. Over all we had a great time. I wish there was another refrigerator in the house on the lower level. It would be very useful for the guests.

We were a mixed group of 3 generations from different countries, all with different interests. The house was perfect for everyone to find their own space, but also to hang out together and have our meals together. The kitchen and bedrooms were well equipped and the house was clean. The kids and grown ups really loved the hot tub and the pool table. One thing we weren't happy with was that the fire alarm went off for no reason in the middle of the night the first night of our stay. We were unable to turn it off and we were all very upset. The emergency number went to a call centre and we didn't get any help until Matt got in touch via text message. I hope this won't happen again.

Overall fine, 1) the broken handle to unlock on the main entrance door was a constant irritation (& this was noted before and not yet repaired) 2) there is no railing for 2/3rds of the stairway going to the lower level and unsafe.3) The shower/tub in the master suite is also unsafe, slippery, and the wrap around original curtain was broken with major tusk of falling getting in and out.

PROS: This property is in a nice location if your wanting to go sightseeing to various areas of WV. We had 14 people in our party and this house was large enough to accommodate all. Having a washer and dryer was great. We did not have very good weather ( rainy and cool) but made of the best of it. CONS: The trash drop off was a nuisance. There needs to be a dumpster closer to the location. The deck is very slippery when wet. While the spa tubs are nice, there needs to be a regular tub shower combo or just a single shower on the main floor. My elderly mother in law had a very difficult time climbing over the large whirlpool tub to shower nightly. And the stairs to downstairs shower did not have a hand rail making it hard to get her to the walk in shower.

Overall it was very nice. The few issues were, jetted tubs did not work, toilet clogged easily, tubs and hot tub needed better cleaning around spout areas, quit a few minor damages that should be easy fixes but wasn't done. My home might be like this butBut it was nice to have family all in one place.

Great property and fantastic location. We've been going to Timberline for almost 30 years. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in. The only downside this year was no bras and bean necklaces on the trees around the lifts.

Overall great location for a central point to meet up. Great location for outdoor activities. All communications were fast and accurate
