Stayed Aug 4, 2018The location of house is excellent, walking distance from the city center and the beach, in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the bay. The bay is protected from the swell and great for children. The house is clean, well equipped, and there is a lot of beautiful sightseeing to do in the region. Our family had a good time in Sao Martinho.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We are a family with 2 young children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sao Martinho do Porto. The house itself is simply but tastefully decorated and one can enjoy eating on the terrace with a lovely view of the bay. The owner is very quick to respond to any issues with the house or its appliances. The house is gated so children can safely play in the garden. One can walk to a small grocery or by car Intermarche is a 5 min drive. And the best part for us was the 5 min short walk down to the beach which is ideal for small children with its calm waters. The waterfront has lots of good restaurants and shopping. The town itself has a maze of lovely old buildings and cobbled streets to explore, besides the fancy high-rises. We would definitely return to this house.
