House with 6 rooms each with private bath across street from lake!

We loved our stay here! We all had private rooms with our own bathrooms and keys. (We were a party of 8.) And we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The place was clean and genuinely hospitable. A truly joyful time was had by all! We could marvel at the sunrise through the kitchen window or step a few feet across the street to take it all in. Tiny issue with one of the showers, but I’m sure that will be remedied by the time we return next year!! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

We all enjoyed our stay for our family reunion. The place is funky, and fun and perfect for a large group. 6 bedrooms/hotel rooms, each with their own bath. There was a great deck for gatherings.

Our multi-generational family of 10 stayed for a week in August. One of the worst fires in California history was raging less than 20 miles away. The smoke and the summer heat with no air conditioning made conditions very challenging. One of our familes left early due to sleepless nights. The place appears to be an old converted motel. 3 bedrooms downstairs, 1 on the main level, and 2 on the top level. Well stocked kitchen. The property is right across from a marina and made for a pleasant view. Very large deck with multiple tables and chairs for family game night. One of the best features was the owner let us use her private dock for our boat. Saved the daily launching fees. All things considered, it is a decent option for multiple familes and is one of the only affordable alternatives for a large group in the Lake Almanor area.

My family stayed 6 days in Lake Almanor for a short summer vacation. I did not realize what an amazing GEM we booked for our trip. Very unique in so many ways. The best location with an amazing view of the lake. Walking distance to stores, dining and lake. Our place was clean, spacious and the host provided just about everything we needed and was easily accessible to us. My entire family highly recommends and we would love to stay here again!

Plenty of space for a group. Large sitting areas inside and out. The rooms are comfortable and the property is in a conventional location.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The beach access was about a block away and very pleasant. The property is dated and there were some service issues. But the hosts were friendly and very prompt fixing them.
