House / Villa - Propriano

Spacious very well appointed home on one level with extensive views on private development; nearby town with shops and restaurants / cafés, and marina; thermal baths, churches, interesting villages and many beaches to choose from all not far. Owner and family on site, helpful, not intrusive.

Lovely location up high with views of the bay and harbour. Hard to find the house in the dark though! 15 minutes walk into town. Very well equipped and clean, big lounge and terrace. This is not the whole house in the picture, there is a n apartment at the back and another on the lower ground floor beneath.

We had a very nice Holiday in Corsica. Well maintained property and kind hosts. Propriano is very well situated for daytrips on the sw coast. Although we enjoyed the property, there are quite come cars passing by the terasses from visitors of the family house. This somehow affected our feeling of privacy.

This property is situated on the eastern edge of Propriano, just off the main road in to the town from Ajaccio, 65 minutes away. This holiday villa is really spacious, with a huge lounge and kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and all the other amenities needed for a tranquil stay. It is very well equipped and decorated, with stunning views out over the Golfe de Valinco from the lounge and the outside terrace which both face the setting sun and draw you outside in the evening for a glass of the excellent local rosé! The property is kept in excellent condition and everything you could possibly need is supplied. We were extremely well looked after during our stay and the charming owner was always helpful and on hand should we have had any queries. The location of this villa is ideal for touring the area, with Ajaccio, Bonifacio and Zonza all within a reasonable drive. There is plenty of choice too; beaches, historical sites, mountain villages, ports and a varied coastline all waiting to be explored. Supermarkets are a short drive up the hill and Propriano has plenty of places to eat, with a thriving port to visit and very long beach to the south. We really enjoyed our stay here and were lucky to get a heat wave so late in the season which was unexpected and added to our holiday experience (and sun tan!). If circumstances permit, we will happily return here to enjoy the peace and explore the area more. Absolutely worth a visit and guaranteed not to disappoint.
