Stayed May 12, 2025The Red Roof House, as we called it, in Cap Malhereux was the first of several booked for a few weeks in Mauritius. Farita, the maid who greeted us on our first day, was lovely and showed us through the property. She and her daughter took care of the house during our stay. We were also lucky enough to have her cook us some fabulous Mauritian dishes. So flavoursome and most welcome after a long day.The house is as described, spacious and quite well equipped. Security was thorough, with alarms, grills, and locks on gates. The pool and garden were well maintained and were a welcome respite, especially on warm evenings, and especially as the beach is not really a swimming beach. Go to Perybere for this, which is just a short drive away. Some basics would have been appreciated, like tea and coffee, oil, vinegar, and a few herbs and spices for cooking. More toilet paper was needed for our week-long stay. Unfortunately, the shower drainage in one of the rooms needed attention, as it didn't drain properly, but no doubt will get repaired, as the house is well-maintained.We would recommend anyone to stay here. It's spacious, comfortable, and the rear terrace and pool are standout features.

Stayed Sep 30, 2022Beautiful spacious villa, we were well looked after by the lovely housekeeper. Easy access to beach where you could walk along to Cap Malhereux for coffee at Helena’s ( definitely recommended) . We tried many local restaurants, a hire car is a must.

Stayed Jun 30, 2022We had such a wonderful week here. The house was spacious and well equipped. How incredible to be able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset from the beach because of the northerly position! Farida kept the house in great condition and the meals she cooked for us were delicious.

Stayed Dec 31, 2019My family and I (husband, 13 year old boy, parents and uncle) had 14 amazing days at Mauritius in Villa Flamboyant. All what is needed for a family vacation is provided for at the house. Level of service from owner and maids are also high - they helped whenever we needed assistance: Transfer at New Years eve even though our flight were remarkably delayed. Had maid picked up in the middle of the night and opened for us. Maid Had connections for fisherman to come by the house, he cleaned the gambas and langousters we bought. Had pol service come by untill water in the pool again were clear. All is almost as described (no stationary cycle for exercise at the house) Very easy access to the beach, no noise from roads, close to bus stop and in walking distance for small shops. We loved it all at this beautiful island ?

Stayed Mar 31, 2019We really enjoyed our stay, one of our best holidays . The property was very secure and we found the pool and garden areas were fantastic. There is a well equipped kitchen and the bedrooms are all a good size. The property is in the village of Cap Malheureaux, we always enjoy our stay here as it is a lovely quiet location with a beautiful beach. It is a good base to explore the island. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Les Flamboyants. The house was really lovely, well laid out for families and especially for children. The pool was a really good size and has a safety barrier which was really appreciated for our young daughter. The kitchen well stocked and the house was also very secure. It is in a good location, away from the touristy areas, but just close enough to get into Perebere or Grand Baie within reasonable cost by car or taxi, but we rented a car for convenience. We would recommend without reservation and hope to go again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It is as shown in the photos, and proximity to the sea makes it quiet and sunny. It has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful holiday with family. To give something to improve, perhaps alarm management and the many keys to the house, it would be a matter to be simplified. It becomes difficult early days. We recommend a visit to the three small islands can be seen from the terrace, beaches and dive sites unforgettable. We contacted a guy named Jean Kervin Johnson, who made us very nice day. You can find it on FB including his name and Cap Malheureux. In resume, a house outstanding. Very recommended.
