House T2 with excellent views, located in the historical center of Funchal.

Excellent host. We received a very warm welcome. Also later Hugo was always available for us and helpful. I definitely recommend his house.

Great outdoor space. The view from the deck off the bedroom is fabulous. The apartment has character and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Hugo, the host, was very welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The place was not as advertised. There were cockroaches running all around the place. The toilet was not working the flush mechanism was damaged and it could not be used. There was no hot water. There were two fans provided in the unit. One was old and rusted but working. The other was not working. There was a bad odour in the bathroom. This was pointed out to the host. He came and cleaned out the bathroom the next day but the smell was still prevalent. I do not understand how this place has a rating of 10 oin the VRBO website.

Place was great. The host was very friendly and welcoming. My only complain is the location. It’s on a hilly neighborhood. It is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Hugo is a great host full of little attentions in the rental place and always present for any questions. The appartment in great, a few minutes from centre of Funchal with a stunning view.

Wow! What a great quirky house to stay in with great views of Funchal and the city. Hugo excelled himself with help, kindness and humour!

Looking out over old Funchal towards the harbour, the house has panoramic views south over the Atlantic and across Funchal. Hugo, our host, was kind, generous and attentive, leaving us small gifts and treating us to a poncha in nearby Camara de Lobos. Highly recommended for relaxation and location.

Hugo is a very obliging and cheerful host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The rooms were very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. There are great views of Funchal from the property. It is located close to the centre but is up a steep hill.

Ideal property for the two of us for an extended break. Everything you need in an apartment. Hugo is one of the nicest people you can meet and does every thing he can to ensure you have a great time. The position in the old town is ideal. The view from the balcony is better than the photos

Wonderful views over the city and harbour. We really appreciated big balcony and terrace and well equipped kitchen. Hugo welcoming and easy to contact. Location not suitable for those with mobility issues or children in buggies etc due to steep hill!

Hugo's apartment was so well equipped with everything we could have needed. Hugo is kind, friendly and helpful. It is full of quirky art work amd there's even a gramophone.

The apartment is as described. Loved the quaint neighborhood and the wonderful view from the balcony. Hugo went above and beyond to make our stay great and comfortable. Excellent place and host.
