So the home states 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. This is essentially true. There are 4 queens bedrooms. Therefore the house could accommodate 8 people. In the kitchen there were 5 bowls, 4 spoons, 5 knives, many forks, many plates, NO kitchen towels (even after I asked and was assured there was a few days prior), no hot pads so I had to pull a wash cloth from a bathroom to grab something out of the oven (appetizing). The 4 bathrooms - one bathroom was in the basement where there are no bedrooms and it contained a toilet that was leaking water and a shower with no curtain and no towels or wash cloths. There was a basket of towels that appeared to be used but I wasn't about to rummage through them to determine that or not - the basket was next to the washer/dryer. So this leaves three bathrooms - one of those had a tub that did not drain, so no one could shower in that as it did not drain AT ALL, it simply filled and filled. So that left 4 people upstairs to take showers in a bathroom the size of an airplane lavatory. The hot water stopped working on day 2 but was prompty repaired - the 1 positive I have to say. The A/C was all over the place constantly fluctuating from 66-80. The lights in the living room were blindingly bright! It was embarrassing. I wanted to make this special for my elderly parents who traveled from NM for their grandson's graduation who stayed with us. Instead, we were constantly 'making due'. At least we were close to the rest of our family.
Metro rail is about 15-20 minute walk from the house, which was great to get about anywhere. A Safeway store was just across from the Metro Station at Wheaton. The only drawback was that house is situated just off (30')a busy street.
